Q: How can you attach the telrad base to the scope optical tube without using the adhesive pads? meade lx90 acf 8" scope.

USE ZIP TIES, ADD A LITTLE GLUE ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE TIE SO IT WON'T MOVE

Q: Would you suggest a 2" or 4" riser on a Celestron 6SE?

I like the 2" riser. A 4 incher is more likely to get accidentally bumped or knocked off (if not attached firmly.) Then u gotta find time to reaim it..

Q: Is this made with a dovetail mount?

The riser bottom has 2 dovetail parts that fit into the top of the original base, but the top of the riser is flat with 2 slots that will take the telrad.
