UPDATED REVIEW - COMPANY MAKES GARBAGE
We bought this unit 2 years ago. It failed after <1 year. Rollicool could not or would not fix it so they sent us a replacement (Rollicool smart air conditioner 100H-20 (14k)). Today, that unit, just OVER 1 year old, simply died. No power, won't turn on.Their return/repair policy: I find a box large enough for this giant AC. I box it up. I then pay $50 to ship back. I then pay $90 for them to look at it. If they can repair it, I then pay for parts. if they can't repair it, I don't pay the $90. And then, there's a 30 day warranty on this thing.Honestly, there's no way I'd cough up at LEAST $140 to repair something from a company that clearly can't make a unit that lasts longer than a year. I have 8 window units of other makes around the house that have been fine for 8 years. No problems. These guys can't manage something that will last more than a year.Stay clear.----My wife and I work together in a home office that was a sun room. There are no windows that would work for a window AC, we don't have central AC, and the portable AC that we had I had to break a small window to run the exhaust hose. It was noisy and barely cooled the room. After a great deal of back and forth on the RolliCool because of the reviews, I checked with Amazon to make sure they would take it back if I didn't like it (they would), I decided to spring for it. Best $500 I've spent in awhile. The unit that sits indoors is app controlled, alexa enabled, and quiet as can be. It sounds like a fan, which is basically all it is. The condenser unit sits outside, blows the heat away from the house (so the area on the house side is relatively cool), and is fairly innocuous looking. It has sturdy rubber feet and I had no problems balancing it on some bricks and rocks in front of the office. The cabling is 10' long, which was plenty for my purposes. The documentation is terrible, let's be honest, and says nothing about the water waste hose that's capped inside, although there's a clear space for the hose to come out of a hole in the plastic on the back. I attached a longer hose to that one and ran it outside. I made sure to put the AC on something (in this case, an old Dell POS...) to let gravity take the waste water away, and I'm good to go.The room is COLD. We've had to turn it down/off several times. 90 degrees just outside and 70 in the office without an problems. Seriously, we love this thing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that when I got it it was basically broken. The manual calls for you to disconnect the cabling once so you can run it between inside and outside, and there's a set of white plastic rings that are supposed to be attached to the same side, but when I pulled the lever releasing the cable one of the white plastic covers slid off (and was actually partially glued to the wrong side). I spoke to a somewhat confused tech support who, upon seeing my photos, simply suggested telling Amazon to replace it and they gave me no trouble at all. I managed to separate it, put a few dabs of locktite on them both on the side they're supposed to be on, and avoided the headache. It's worked flawlessly since.

AC is great for small room. Adjustments needed. West Texas compliment. Budget Friendly.
Review below uploaded 082319:I live in El Paso, TX and we are in temps around 90-100 outside during the summer. This past week our humidity has been between 20-30%. If you look at pics I uploaded, my 100 sq. ft room can get to 78-80 degrees all day. For me, that is the best I can find for this price point. I read reviews on here and people forget that for the price, this little gadget packs a COLD punch. The room I tested gets hot, super hot in the summer and this is the first time in years I've felt this cool. Every year I buy stand up fans and last year I tried a rollable water one and they doesn't get the job done. From the pics I uploaded, the AC shoots under 50 degrees of cold air, you can feel it. Feels great in West Texas HOT air heat. I also included a pic of how hot it was outside when I took the inside picture. Outside is over 100 degrees and in the pic you can see 45ish degrees of cold air flowing.PROS:Budget friendlyGreat for small room (100 sq. feet in my case with computers running HOT fans all day). That's how big my space is.78 degrees of comfortable working conditions in West Texas HOT air heatCONS:Need a longer drain pipe from water that builds up.Interior unit is a bit noisy, see pic. Wish it could be just a bit quieter.****************I uploaded an unboxing/install/test video on Utube. Awesome Concept, Questionable Execution
I love this idea - a mini split that's designed to be "portable" so it can be used through a window and installed without a technician. Unfortunately, this product feels more like a beta test than anything "customer-ready."Out of the box, my condenser fan (outdoor unit) didn't spin - it was stuck on an internal coolant line. Fortunately that's just copper pipe - after removing four screws to get the fan cover off, I could carefully bend it back out of the way. After a day, I can say the unit does cool comparably to a similarly-sized window AC I used to use. I've hit the same issue another reviewer saw where the evaporator (inside unit) starts to ice up - switched to fan-only for a few minutes for it to thaw and I've been running it without the front cover since then. Will wait and see if the issue reoccurs.I can see the blower fan wobbling around in the indoor unit - it looks like it's imbalanced and likely to break prematurely. The inside unit does fill with water, but you'll periodically hear a pump turn on (in the outdoor unit, I believe) to pull the water outside. The excess drains out of the outside unit through a spigot below where the coolant lines attach. I haven't had any leakage inside and haven't had to use the indoor unit's overflow drain, but if you unplugged it and tried to move it at the wrong moment you would definitely find water.UPDATE August 1, 2019:I ended up buying a second one of these after buying and returning a portable (it worked, but it was way less efficient than this). Second one is working fine out of the box with none of the issues of the first one. I'm raising my rating to 4 stars accordingly.I've messaged Rollibot to ask how that 10000 BTU rating was determined and they don't know. They do give the compressor model (39A231A) in the item listing and on the box, which seems to be a Rechi unit rated for 2300 KCal/hr which converts to 9134 BTU/hr. I suspect that means the 10000 figure doesn't really have a sound basis.UPDATE September 8, 2019:The first unit has failed after about two months. It's just blowing room temperature air even though the compressor is running and both fans are spinning. I have contacted Rollibot support and will see about getting it replaced.Lowering my rating to two stars while this play out.
