Fantastic fence paint - covers all types of fences both brew and previously painted with the same depth of colour - say to apply with a paint brush - this is my second purchase the first 2 cans have covered 30+ 6ft fences plus long front fence and a large decking area and pergola - would highly recommend

I wouldn't say this paint is dark grey. It's more of a mid grey with silvery, grey/blue tones but this seems to change depending on the weather and the light quality. My garden is very long (approx 70 - 80 metres) and the previous occupier installed a fence along the boundary many years ago. The fence was looking very tired but I didn't want to have to spend out on replacing it with a new one so chose this paint to give it a face lift. One tin was more than enough to do the entire fence (one side), plus both sides of 2 gates and both sides of a low fence with some left over for touch ups. Some areas definitely needed two coats but the paint went on very well. For the price I think this paint is good and has given the whole garden a totally different feel and look. I'm hoping the paint will last for another couple of years and extend the life of the fence. Next time I will probably spend a bit more and go for the black / barn paint to try to blend the fence more into the background as the colour has taken me a bit of getting used to. I would definitely suggest that when painting do the first coat and leave it for at least 24 hours before doing a second coat. This gives the paint a chance to dry and you'll notice some areas won't need a second coat whereas other areas will either show a few cracks in the paint or noticeably need another coat. Any areas where the paint looked as though it was cracked or not completely adhering, just needed a second coat and that seems to have sorted it. So far it looks as though it's all fine since it was painted at the start of spring. The big test will be over autumn and winter but for the price I think this is a really good paint.

I used a four inch masonry roller to paint most of each panel. Then did the awkward bits with a brush.Saved a lot of time because one coat was enough. Worth paying a bit more for. Can't compare this to the watery stains that the DIY shops stock.

The colour is lovely, as can be seen on photo. As the other reviews say, one coat and possible a few touch ups are all you need. I cannot believe the coverage you get on first application and it puts all the other well known fence paint brands In the shade.I will not use anything else in the garden from now on and have recommended to all of my friends and family.It’s a massive drum for the price, well worth the money. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!

Worked really well with an electric fence sprayer. Full garden done in an hour and half still left over. Hosed it down to clean off some mud and you can see the water beading off the panels so the quality is great.Will def buy again when needed.

Excellent paint only needed one coat even to cover forest green colour, highly recommended.

No drips, covered red wood in one coat. Nice colour Would definitely recommend.
