Perfect fit 2016 Gmc canyon
This stopped my leaks that was ruining my headliner! Dealership told me it was the roof antenna and wanted $750 to replace it. So I put silicone around antenna base just incase. But it ended up being the 3rd brake light.

Had to seal gap on top
Bought since the oem gasket was completed shredded, fits well to the light assembly but there is a gap in between the gasket and truck body on top, had to seal with silicones. Could be design flaw on gm’s side but otherwise i’m happy with the purchase

It is a new seal
I still gave 3 stars because it had a couple of good points and many products are made with "OE replacement" designs. That is, products are often made with the idea that it replaces the OE item as it was originally installed. However as many things such as cars/components age, inconsistencies develop. So a part which was installed on a brand new "2004 car or truck" in the year it was made, won't necessarily fit the same if trying to install that same part 10, 20+ years later as panels shift, gaps increase/decrease etc.In my case, the seal was being installed on the high-mount brake light for a 2004 Colorado. It fit ok on the light housing and the adhesive adhered very well to the light itself. However, after reinstalling the light there was more of a gap in the top center space of the light. So even after tightening the screws fully, light could be seen through a gap between the new seal and the metal body of the cab, thereby defeating the purpose of installing a new SEAL onto the light housing. After all, I could've just left the old seal in place with some sealant rather than buying a new seal, only to have to use sealant on it. I suppose the only positive point really is, just that it's a new seal so less sealant is required. I would say that maybe the design of the seal could be improved with additional seal material being used along the top side of the seal.
