Amazing 🤩
The VR kit is amazing. Building is great for ages 8-15. Because it’s made of cardboard your child can decorate their builds.

VR for the Switch
The Nintendo Labo VR Kit is a really fun entertaining VR experience for the Nintendo Switch. I was a little skeptical at first because everything was cardboard, and I have never used any other cardboard VR sets. Building the goggles and extra controller devices was a lot of fun. It kind of made me feel like a kid again. It definitely takes some patience and careful watching of the videos to fold and connect all of the pieces, but the end results are some rather surprisingly sturdy cardboard devices. I am an adult and I am also a game collector so I am very careful and take extreme care of my things. I am not 100% sure how this would hold up to a kid building these and then using them for extended periods of time (as they are cardboard). If they are anything like my kids it would be destroyed in a couple weeks, because either it got thrown in the closet and something else was piled on top of it or it was on the ground in their room and someone stepped on it, etc. The part about the kids is just my opinion as I know how my kids are, but overall the VR Kit works very well and gives you a different perspective with the Nintendo Switch. Definitely worth trying out.

One of the best VR experiences you can get at a price that can't be beat.
So, a little background first, my past experiences in VR have been with the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Google Glass. I would say that the quality of the VR in this kit in terms of its execution is somewhere between Google Glass and the Rift, probably just slightly closer to the level of the Rift. Honestly, for the $80 I spent I couldn't believe how solid the VR was. Fantastic field of view, although as should be expected the worlds you'll be looking at are pretty low-res and blurry in the distance. Having said that, it really didn't bother or distract me during any of the games/demos. It was all super immersive, in no small part because of the Toy-con packaged in the kit. Building the Toy-con was a lot of fun, if time-consuming. I can't say enough how cool it is to fly through the air in VR and actually feel gusts of wind hit you in the face as you accelerate. Whether you have a child who's interested in technology and building things (the lessons contained within the software are great for the curious mind) or you're just an adult who likes putting things together and would like your own mini-VR arcade, this is really a great package.

Cool, not for me though.
This product is fun and inspired, almost no flaws, if your buying this to compensate for any type of “real” VR, don’t. There are not many games on the labo and it’s not very easy to make your own game. Found myself playing till only two days after I got it, then it just sitting on the shelf. Again I don’t hate it, it’s not for me. Hope you found this useful.

Awesome games full of imaginations and creativities
I love this Labo kit! I received a gift of Labo Kit 1 before and enjoyed making Labo games out of cardboards. But after done making them they were just lying there and I never played them again. But this one is different! The making process is still so much fun, but whats even better is that I enjoy those VR games so much, too! I love the wind coming to my face when playing the Fan. I love that I can blow the wheels to make bubbles. The concept is also cool because I can easily take the VR goggles off if I feel tired, unlike the other VR helmets. I can easily share it with my friends, too. It's also educational. I'm not a kid but I enjoy learning about how these Toycons work and how the VR actually works. All in all, love this game! I'd recommend it as a gift to all kids and adults!

Cardboard pieces
This is so cheap. You basically get 100 cutouts of cardboard that you have to assemble yourself like a cardboard origami elf. I cannot even believe the price of this garbage.

Simply amazing and I mean it. The VR + blaster is the most fun I have ever had in VR. Nintendo just set the bar with this kit.**4/24/2019 Update**I have had around 9 adults and 4 kids try the VR, blaster and camera. They have all been a hit. I know about the age thing for kids but my 2 year old loves the under water camera with out the goggles. A lot of the people that tried the Blaster was a amazed. Most of them experienced VR for the first time. Some of them wouldn't put it down. Hopefully some makers or Nintendo will create a full plastic blaster. I'm also wondering if Nintendo is going to allow indie developers to create games for VR. Hopefully we will see some first person shooter games using labo VR in the near future.

This is wonderful!!
My kids LOVE this - 2 boys, 10 and 12 years old. The only thing that makes it better is to add your own head strap- look it up on YouTube. I had an old VR set here, just took the headset off of it, attached it to this one, and it was so much more pleasurable for the boys, and it made me feel better, because they weren’t holding the thing to their face with one hand and playing with one. Lowered the risk of dropping, I felt.
