The RD16 is a serious guitar and constructed using many of the same components and techniques used in building our higher end instruments. It’s sounds and plays superbly well and is a classic looking Dreadnought. The RD16 has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. We have made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they’re easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.

Portable
I really like the portable quality of this item. And it is red. I actually wish it was a little bigger in diameter as it needs to be positioned pretty exactly to keep it from slipping on my hardwood floors. I took an emery board to lightly roughen up the bottom, and it helps if only one of the three feet are pointing towards your chair (or feet)
