Awesome mount for the price!
This mount is great. It was linked to in a reddit thread about mounting plates for Mk7 VW Golfs and I decided to try this. I was told zip ties would work fine with this mount and I went ahead with it since I didn’t want to drill any holes into my front bumper. It’s great! Easy to install. Zip tied to the front grill and screwed in perfectly. An easy solution for those who can’t/don’t want to drill.

Great license plate bracket
Needed to put the front license plate on my 1967 GTO (CA laws suck) and this worked perfect. Used the existing front bumper holes as well as the plate holes. No new holes needed drilling. As others have mentioned, it does NOT come with the hardware to bolt the plate to the bumper, only the hardware to bolt the plate to the bracket.

Not for late '90s Hondas and not very universal
This item is useless. If you have a front bumper that is angled, DO NOT buy this item. As I needed to use my vehicle and had been given a fixit ticket, I was forced to use this with tie wraps until I can get the correct one. Yes, the dash is where I had the plate, but the officer said it laid to flat and could not be seen, so..............

Used this for front license plate holder
My vehicle (2011 Jeep Compass) did not have a license plate bracket for the front of the vehicle and only had knock out holes for one. When we started to put on our town tag we realized it was going to face towards the ground due to the placement of the holes and the design of the front bumper. Went to amazon.com and found this neat little fixer! It worked perfectly and now my license tag sits just like it should!

Universal license plate bracket
Basic, black plastic license plate bracket with four identical, galvanized, self-tapping machine screws for mounting frame to vehicle and license plate to frame. Simple and inexpensive; essentially a flat piece of semi-flexible plastic with slots and holes. Performs its essential function. Purchaser should consider the purchase of nut-and-bolt fasteners to attach the license plate as the machine screws extend far beyond the rear of the bracket and will penetrate the bumper surface when the plate is attached. Nothing fancy but after all, its sole function is to attach a license plate to a vehicle. Find an alternative if you don't want to drill holes into the visible face of the bumper.

Good Solution!
I recently moved to California from Georgia and my 2015 VW GLI wasn't outfitted to have a license plate on the front of the car, and since it's necessary here, I needed to make it happen to avoid a ticket. I lease my car, and didn't want to drill holes in it so I found this item online via a blog and attached this to my car the same way he did....using 8 inch zip ties on the grill of the car. It took me a bit to get it perfectly centered, but the zip ties along with this plate holder were effective! A cheap and great solution. HOWEVER, the screws that come in the packaging with this item DO NOT FIT in the holes on the license plate holder! They are way too thick! Other reviewers noted the same issue. This was very frustrating for me as I attached the thing before I checked that the screws would fit (didn't think I had to do this), so I had to remove it and take it into the house and dig through my tool kit to find something that fit. Which luckily I did, but I can't give this 5 stars for that reason. It is a good solution as I mentioned and I'm a woman and still figured it out!

Easy installation, attached to grille
I moved from PA to NY state. PA only has back plates while NY has front and back plates. My car does not have a plate holder in the front and I did not want to take it to the dealer and pay a lot of money to have the plate in place. So I got this little piece and zip tied into the front of my car (to part of the bumper that has a grille). After that I put the license with the 2 included screws. So far it has been holding there for almost 3 months. Cheap solution and any girl can do it!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND- Solved my problem for a 2018 Toyota Tacoma
I just bought a 2018 Tacoma and a brand new U.S. Navy license plate frame. This generation of the Tacoma does not have a rear license plate space tall enough to accommodate a license plate frame holder. I was getting ready to return the license plate frame, when I decided to search for a License plate frame "riser." I found this product and it raised it up just enough to get my U.S. Navy (which is standard height of license plate frames) to fit. So if you have a shorter license plate opening, this may help you.

All those holes on this and not one of them lined up with the license plate. Very expensive piece of plastic that didn't work, and I lost $7 because you get charged for shipping return.

Works great, have it installed on my GTI with nylon zip ties

It's a piece of cheap plastic. Does the job well. A little overpriced for a piece of plastic.
