A must have for gigs!
I have had this bag for almost a year now, and so far it's still going strong (Average around 5-8 gigs per month). This has been such a back saver as I used to carry all my stands individually (3 or 4 trips down to 1). This thing is plenty tall, yet I can actually fit this in the trunk of a Corolla (longways left to right). I use a couple 3 piece/section cymbal stands with tom mounts. I have my tom mounts in the 2nd section, so for tear down, all i have to do is take off the cymbal arm, lower the top most section of the stand that controls cymbal height (which I have marked for setup), and collapse the legs of course, and it fits fine in the bag. This is what I put in the main compartment of this bag: 2 3-section stands with 3 tom mounts total (don't have to do anything to the tom mounts), a standard non boom cymbal stand, hihat stand, snare stand, my kick mic stand, and microphone stand. Then I can fit my cymbal boom arms and floor tom legs in the side pockets, and my cowbell and other stuff in the front bottom pocket. You can fit ALOT into this bag. It's heavy as hell lifting up into the car, but it's very doable. This was one of the best purchases I have ever made, and worth every single penny. Very sturdy, great for long hauls of equipment from car to stage, and easily maneuverable.

Great Gig Bag for Multiple Instruments
I looked for a long time to find a wheeled gear bag that would hold multiple instruments, stand vertically on its own without tipping over, and would have a zip-open lid AND a vertical zipper so it can be loaded from the top as well as the side. This Gator bag has all that, and has heavy duty zippers and multiple sturdy handles, as well as interior straps and some side padding.I have been able to carry all together: a ukulele, small dulcimer, and Ban-Jammer--all in soft cases, and a larger dulcimer without case. It is not large enough to carry a hammered dulcimer, however. The lid has its own zippered compartment and provides handy storage for smaller items like picks, tuners, capos, recorders, pens and paper. The 2 side pockets (8" x 23")could be improved by having a D-shaped zipper that would allow you to insert extra-long items that would protrude out the top of the side pockets. They are good, however for carrying compact folded music stands and umbrellas, long skinny instruments like flutes and whistles, as well as mics and cables. It would be nice if there were a zippered pocket on this bag big enough to hold sheet music. The front, bottom, zippered pocket would be a good place for that, but the one that's there is not large enough. The sturdy wheels carry the bag easily over curbs and across thresholds. The curved handle provides a place to hang a tote bag of music, a small folding stool and/or another small instrument. The handles on the bag are placed exactly where they need to be to make it easy to lift the bag and slide it into a vehicle wheels first, or to place it upright in a van (it will need to be secured if upright). Its small footprint takes up much less room in hallways, instruction areas, and concert set-ups than the larger shopping carts or beach carts, etc. that many others with multiple instruments use.The bag also protects your gear while loading your vehicle if it's raining lightly--haven't tried it in a downpour, yet!I'm so glad that I located this bag; it's been the best solution for easily moved, easily stowed, gear and instrument storage.

GREAT PRODUCT!
Awesome case. I play gigs EVERY weekend, so this gets a lot of movement. I have 3 cymbal boom stands, TAMA TITAN hi hat stand, Titan snare stand, heavy duty throne, DW 9000 single bass drum pedal, tom mount, bass drum mic stand with a HEAVY base, and some odds and ends. Needless to say this holds a lot of weight with no problem. The frame of the cart is strong, but I do agree the axle is a little thin. No bending yet, I do watch going over curbs and steps that I don't angle the case that would cause it to land only on the axle. If the axle bends from "setting it down too hard" it must have dropped from a couple of feet off the ground! Zippers seem strong and sturdy, as well as the "carry" handles. Here's a tip- I load into the back of my GMC Yukon which is kind of high. Instead of picking the bag up from the straps, I pick it up with the top handle of the metal cart, and the bottom stand support of the metal cart. Easier to handle and no worries about ripping the bag. Easy to pull and maneuver. Doesn't get snow or slush on the fabric like a bag with wheels built in would. Very satisfied with the purchase. Now hopefully I didn't "jinx" myself and this cart keeps working flawlessly.

The best hardware case I've ever used
I've been playing in bands for over 20 years and I've been through several hardware cases. The most recent was an SKB hard shell with the pull out handle and rollers. It lasted me three summers before the straps broke, which isn't nearly good enough considering what I paid. It was awkward on uneven terrain, tough getting up and down stairs, and of course ungodly heavy. This Gator case is everything the description and positive reviews say it is. Even though it's soft, the nylon is really tough and I have no doubt will stand up to plenty of abuse. The design is ingenious. It stands solidly upright whether full or empty, making loading and unloading a breeze. The frame is solid metal and the wheels are large enough to not get caught on rocks, ribbed truck beds, uneven floors, etc. I have to get this thing in and out of a pickup truck and the well placed handles on the front and bottom make that as easy as it can be.Along with all that, there are pockets all over to put your smaller items in so they don't get torn up rattling around with your big hardware.I love this case. My guitar player even commented on what a smart design it is...so there you go...it's such a great case that a guitar player noticed.
