Men's Boat Shoe, Classic Look, Premium Genuine Leather, with Odor Control Technology, Size 8 to 13

Handsome, comfortable and well made, at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for? For years I used to purchase another popular brand of boat shoe. They were great. But something went awry.. Their quality went down as their prices went up. I was so fortunate to discover these Rugged Shark shoes which are even more comfortable and at a good price. And the quality of leather is infinitely better. I like these so much I purchased another pair in a different style. I love them too.

Although a good enough copy of Sperry Topsiders, it is not quite the same. Topsiders have been my go to casual shoe for about 50 years (when they only came in the reddish brown color, and when only New England preppies and boaters wore them). I wasn't paying attention when I ordered, and rather than return them I figured I'd give them a try.The leather on these seems a little thicker and heavier (not my preference, but may improve longevity).The sole seems similar, but I have not tried it on a wet boat deck.The insole, however, sticks to my feet when I take the shoes off (not really acceptable as these are boat shoes made to be worn without socks).Overall, I won't be ordering these again although others may feel differently.

Super comfortable classic boat shoes that fit perfectly. No scraping or itching when walking. The shoes hold my feet and provide comfortable protection all day. No odor producing issues either. Stylish design. Couldn't be happier with these shoes.

My blue Sperry's lasted about 2 years, faded, and took on dust that wouldn't come off. These new shoes look better, feel better, and have an antibacterial sealant. I look forward to seeing how they work out plus they are very affordable! Nice to see some great competition take on the famous heavy weights.

I like these shoes a lot. I've had them for a few weeks and they seem to be holding up well. I had searched Amazon for Sperry's and was sort of in a hurry and ended up buying these not realizing that "Rugged Shark" wasn't some version of Sperry, if that makes sense. But I think the price was okay and they fit well. We'll see how they hold up in the future.

Shoes are comfortable, but they seemed to run large. I ended up ordering a full size smaller than what I normally wear.

I’m a sailor so I’ve been wearing Sperry’s for 40 years and have watched the quality decline and the price go up to the extent I’ve stopped buying them so I thought I’d give these a try. The quality appears excellent - the leather is thick, the stitching is perfect and the soles more substantial than Sperry’s. Very pleased.

Looked great and even looked comfortable! However, after wearing these shoes for only 25 minutes, I limped home with a cut on my right heel, three blisters on my left foot, and discoloration on the inside of both feet. I cannot recommend these shoes unless you are looking to get your heels split open. Buy something else.
