Works Great
I originally bought this brand tape to use on carpet stair treads 8 years ago and those treads are still attached! I bought it again recently to try and tape down a heavy rubber mat to plywood for a outdoor dog ramp I was building. The tape worked and held it down “ok” however the places which had no tape was bubbling up, I’m not sure how much the weather outdoors affect it, I probably needed to use more tape but I reinforced it with some staples just to be safe and so far I’ve had no problems at all. I would recommend this for indoor use on anything but not so sure it’s a stand alone solution for outdoor projects.

This stuff is awesome!
I read reviews on several types of the double-sided acrylic adhesives before choosing this one. I recently purchased a couple of 6' x 5' mats for our outdoor dog kennel to give the dogs something to lay on besides the concrete. The mats were fairly light weight but I am happy with the mats but I wanted to try to keep them from blowing up on the windy days so I thought I would try some double sided carpet tape.I applied some to one of the mats to see how it would work and it has worked great for keeping the mat from blowing up. We had some very windy days this past week and no problem with the mat that I used the tape with so now I have added the tape to the other mat that is in the other pen.I don't know how it would be for removal if you used it on a wooden floor but love it for keeping the mats down in the dog kennel.

Strong tape for vinyl flooring
Strong grip make sure it's in the place you want it because if you ha e to move it the glue will continue to stick on whatever comes in contact with it

Always remember, this product is not meant to be applied to finished flooring.
"Always remember, this product is not meant to be applied to finished flooring. ". So this is an important detail that I wish was more prominently placed in the product description... In fact I don't recollect it being in there at the time of my 7/1/19 purchase. It is incredibly adhesive! It even took the backside of the cheap rug it was holding in place. It is abundant.I will use it again, but very little and only on cheap flooring or subfloors.I used a whole can of goof off formulated to remove adhesive residual and while it appears clean, it is still tacky. I felt ok using that stuff on old linoleum, but not so much on the hickory flooring. The only upside is that the adhesive residual is stuck to an area of flooring that will be replaced.

Difficult for a beginner but worked!
A very rare day happened and I let my teen grandson eat his alfredo pasta in his room... he tripped and dumped the whole bowl out. Ugh. After scrubbing, 2x shampooing and even using vinegar to hide the smell... our 1 year old Doodle ate the carpet. Obviously it took her some time (approximately 2 hours to be exact) to lick and lick and lick this hole in the carpet but my grandson swears he never heard a thing! It would have drove me nuts hearing that sound for so long! After getting an estimate to fix this 5x5 patch of carpet... this led to me watching many videos on how to repair it myself. I'm fairly handy and can do simple diy repairs. After purchasing this tape and getting out the small roll of extra carpet I saved from having carpets installed .... I set to work. This tape is very similar to using saran wrap. If it's done right, it works beautifully.... if it's not... it's a mess and and all stuck together.I did one side at a time, mostly winging it from what I thought I remembered from the videos. .... 2 sides of this patch went on fairly easily but the third side was sticking to itself and more difficult. The last side was the worse because I had very little room to work... the tape ended up all stuck to itself, my hands, and everything it could grab as I tried shoving it in place. It is really a strong, stretchy tape!I ended up with this super sticky tape everywhere except where I needed it... so after a few quiet curse words (mostly directed at my grandson and the dog), I got out my handy-dandy industrial hot glue gun and totally fixed that last side! Can't even tell where it's patched except new carpet against one year old carpet .Tape is definitely worth it!! Saved me hundreds of $$.... and my grandson gets nothing but water in his room now!!.... now he likes to ask for food in his room just so he can laugh at my reaction. Darn kids.My advice.. Buy the tape, save hundreds and use hot glue as needed

Great stuff
This stuff works so good, was laying carpet on to fiber board and was having a heck of a time finding something other than tiny nails to hold it down I ordered this and used it to install all of the carpet that was a year ago nothing has came up had to replace a square and ripped the backing off the carpet, very impressed. One side note sometimes it took me rubbing my hand on the transfer paper to warm up the tape before it stuck but with the proper prep I’d bet you could tape your couch to the ceiling

I like the fibers embedded in the adhesive (which is like ...
I have purchased various heavy duty double sided tapes in the past for school projects/mounting on boards and this one is just "okay". It's a little more awkward to work with and is not nearly as strong as others. I like the fibers embedded in the adhesive (which is like a glue dot but maybe a little less sturdy) but the adhesive edges are so gummy and tend to roll up. I have another double sided carpet tape that is THE best ever (that I'm almost out of) but I can't for the life of me remember where I bought it or what brand it is (it is no where to be found on the roll) Alas, the search continues...

Works perfectly
Used this outside, and it has stood up perfectly to the weather for 6+ months to connect two large rugs. And, it was very easy to use.
