fun and funny romp through suburbia
Wendy Wax Summed up the suburbs in both a hilarious and very accurate way. I loved the whole French maid gig and the revelations that came with it. This book was definitely a fun little romcom easily read and easily enjoyed

Isn’t life grand!
Wendy Wax captures life’s bumps in the road with fortitude and humor. He characters are so true to life. Wearing beautiful well contrived facades well working through life’s mis-adventures only to find it’s all part of this crazy thing we all live called life. While the main character of this book struggled to keep her and her children’s heads above water she maintained a lively and healthy sense of humor. I couldn’t wait to flip the next page.

I'd give it an 8 or a 9 star rating if I could, heck I'd give it a 10, and not just this book but the author as well......
I'd give this book an 8 or 9 star rating if I could, heck I'd give it a 10. As soon as I read the first of Wendy Wax's book I went looking for all the rest and pre-ordered the newest.......... There are lots of places that the stories strike a cord, there are places that leave me thinking, (even after I finish the book), and then the places in the story that make me smile and the ones where I laugh out loud.............. This is a great book. All of her books are great fun and Wendy Wax gets 10 stars in my personal author rating..

Good read
I have never done one of these reviews before, but I enjoy this author's treatment of her female characters. This is the second book of hers that I have read and have found enjoyable. There is truth to be found in the strength of women faced with adversity and their resilience in facing a future when the chips are down. Ms Wax brings this truth to her books with a sense of humor and hope.

Chick Flick Fun
Amanda's husband has left her. Now she must morph from a house wife to a woman bringing home the bacon. With the help of some new friends, Amanda finds a way to be happy while being single in suburbia.Grab a glass a wine and curl up on your sofa with this book. It's like being with your best girlfriends as you'll die laughing at the antics of Amanda and others.

A brilliant 5star
Wow - I wish there are more of this kind of stories! A lovely chicklit with substance. Ms Wax's other books are now must be bought-type. I loved the dynamics of a failed marriage- and simple friendship from this relationship. Also the dynamics of a mom determined to spare her kids the disruptions of home due to her divorce. Bravo Ms Wax
