Typhoon 3/4 Helmet With Face Shield & Retractable Sun Visor DOT Motorcycle Scooter Moped Cruiser Youth Women Adult - Silver - Small

Bought this helmet 5 months ago and discovered some flaws ,the velcro which keeps the neck bace in place was improperly installed -there are two sides to velcro which make it work , this helmet had one side only , it stayed in place so , I let it go .Well I should have know better than to think that this would be the last of my problems , the face shield came off next and would not go back on about a month later , ok I thought didn't really like it anyway because it is far too close to your nose and causes it to fog up , I used the flip down visor ,after a few times of flipping it down it also came out , I was able to fix this and for a for awhile things were ok with this helmet. Now the insides are coming apart , they use really cheap plastic rivets your supposed to be able to turn to release these pads for cleaning, they break when you try to insert them again. The seller wanted nothing to do with any of these claims stating that it had been 5 months , Im afraid Im going to have to throw this helmet in the trash , I will not put my life in it;s hands 5 months is a short period of time for a helmet to fall apart 5 months in the hospital is a long time , death is forever. Do your self a favor and buy a better helmet .

You get what you pay for. I ordered this for about $40 including shipping. Used it about 30 hours riding and the left side interior pad detached. Trying to put it back together I found that there was also a velcro attachment that only 1 side of the velcro was installed so it never grabbed the interior pad. I did manage to get the plastic attachment to secure the pad but ordered a replacement (terrific HJC Helmet) for $250.00. I'll keep this as a spare.

I had bought one of these for me and I love it. My husband says his pushes on his ears though. I got him an extra large but my large fit perfect. We both do love the outer Shield with the inner shaded shield.

Attractive and solid. Am not a biker, needed something for age and injury-related slip and fall protection. Like the Typhoon off-road helmet, this one, XXL, is too snug for a 24-inch head.

Just opened the helmet I got for my girlfriend...the sunvisor is detached and not working..defective...***with a disclaimer for no return due to defective "sunvisor " stuck on it with a scrap of masking tape!!!....see where this is going!!!Don't bother, buy elsewhere!

There are better quality helmets out there however for the money, this is a good product.My wife needed something for a long road trip to block more wind than our skull caps.This is not her every day head gear but for a 10 hour ride, she was pretty comfortable in it.

My head measures 57 cms, I have a medium helmet and after one hour ride, it really hurts, too tight. I was hoping it would loosen up a little but don't ride enough to know yet.
