Fell apart
This textbook was required for a course I'm taking, and before the semester was halfway over, the front matter of the book fell out, and since then other sections have come loose. I don't even have to take the book back and forth to class (it's an online course), so it didn't get any wear and tear from transport. It came apart just from the mere stress and strain of reading it at home.

This book is literally life saving for anyone interested in the area of testing. It deals with every aspect, from the most traditional to the most modern ones, alternative assessment, TBLA, CBA, washback, in a very thorough manner. The articles inside are short but quite explanatory, and they give a great overview of the area. A must for testing afficionados!
