Does this headsets have an independent volume control?

H10-30 is a mono headset with one volume knob. You can only turn up/down the volume for the headset as a whole, and cannot adjust right/left independently. One other thing to know about this headset is that the mic is a dynamic mic and not an electret mic, but you can buy an upgrade kit. I flew with this for years before upgrading to a H10-13X noise cancelling set. I had my H10-30 for about 17 years and after 17 years they still looked and performed like new.

Yes it comes with an outdated charcoal mic and soft mic cover. Suggest a newer type headset with an electret mic. Makes a world of difference. H10-13 is the way to go. E. Bay is the wat to go for that.
