I liked the story and the pictures. My granddaughter liked the reading of the story.

This book is absolutely adorable. The shipping method was from the United Kingdom BUT i received in a timely fashion! (approximately 2 weeks but quicker than was informed to be delivered). Just perfect!

My three year olds ask to be read this book every day. They love counting his many shoes and socks--the ones he gives to his friends at the end of the story. They feel sorry for Centipede when he hurts his toe at the beginning. I think the colorful pictures kept my three year olds' attention 'til the end of the story. They commented on how he looked sad when he hurt his toe, happy when he was going to get shoes, and sad when it took him so long to put on his shoes and socks.

I was planning on using the book for the 100th day of school and I liked it except that I didn't feel like it had a very good story line. It didn't really teach the kids something like a good lesson or moral. It was a fun story to listen to and my kids did like that the centipede had a lot of shoes but I would gear it towards older kids for them understand that story. I did love the pictures though and so did my kids.

Cute book to use for the 100th day of school. I like to use it for cause and effect. It is easy to teach this comprehension strategy.

This book is glorious! Our whole family loves this book! My 6 year old loves the 'kissing cloud' when Mum (or Mom in the US version!) is fixing the little centipede's sore foot. It's funny and great for maths learning if you choose to concentrate on that aspect but the story and exceptional illustrations alone make it worth buying.

Got it for Playing Preschool and love it.

I love this, it's a fun story, includes counting, pairs, problem solving, calculation.... Happy week with my Reception Class. Would appeal to any small child interested in numbers. Did you know centipedes don't have 100 legs?

quite a simple story but my five year old daughter loves it. I have to read it every night at the moment.

Great book for Reception maths

I bought this for my 4 year old autistic son as he loves numbers and is very clever with them. He quite liked it, but it didn't hold his attention for that long.

A cute little story about a centipede and his want for shoes. My nieces love it and I am sure my twin boys will when they are a little older.
