Well-designed but not perfect
All the tools you need are in one compact package. I carry it in my pocket or in the side compartment of my backpack, and it never takes up any space. The convenient form factor eliminates the need to carry six-pronged screwdrivers and so on. helps when you need to quickly rotate the camera, pad, or handle in the field conditions - nothing to look for, everything at hand. The tools are really high quality and precisely tuned. All the bits fit into the screws as cast, without luff. They are comfortable to work with, nothing is stuck or wobbles. The body itself is metal, not cheap plastic - in the hand feels like a reliable thing. I use it constantly, and in a few months, there were no signs of wear or looseness. It feels like he can handle more than one year of active work. It was impressive how well the tool set itself is designed. Here are both hexagons (including inch), and two screwdrivers - cross and flat, and even Torx. This set is sufficient for almost all situations - from the installation of quick-release plates to tightening handles or stands. Even in unexpected situations, you can be sure that the right key will be at hand. An additional plus was the presence of threaded holes for spare screws. It would seem small, but such things are saved on the set when you lose a screw or simply have no place to fasten. Thanks to this set, you can always take a spare and not run in panic around the site in search of small brushes. Does not slip in your hands, thanks to the silicone coating, and the durable fastening mechanism prevents the instruments from dropping out spontaneously. Even just holding it in your hand is nice. The flat screwdriver was too wide and thick, I would like a little less thickness.

Honestly best purchase I’ve ever made
Used this so much that I lost it on the job. Makes you wonder about the finite nature of life and how some things so wonderful will only last a short time. Could I buy this again because the price is so good? Of course I can but I’d rather think fondly about it as a struggle to attach a tripod plate with my house keys or build a camera rig with those Allen keys they come with. I greatly enjoyed my time with the high quality machine work that went into it. In fact to how easy it is to deploy a client of mine bought it although they are no longer a client in the same way I no longer have my camera multi tool. Do I know why I lost them? Maybe, but do I prefer to live a a reality that I didn’t fall in a pool and pull them in with me? Yes of course I’d prefer that reality. Like that one girl in college you met at a party but never got her number after an amazing night together, this tool will haunt you but in the best possible way.

It's a no brainer
I was going through my camera bag the other day, and I kept coming across Hex Key wrenches. I use different plates on my cameras, and it seems that each different plate has a different size Hex Key wrench. What I did was put all these different size wrenches in my camera bag so that I wouldn't be out on a shoot, need to change plates, and not have the right size. Then there are the plates that you need to have a dime to tighten the screws, "Hey buddy, do you have change for a quartet?"...Isn't that kind of like putting a round peg in a square hole? UGH! Well, the solution is the Smallrig Folding Tool Set. I just keep it with my lens blower, and I always have the right size Hex Key wrench, and a flat head screwdriver to tighten or loosen my plates. what is nice is you can put the wrench straight out and use it like a screwdriver, or you can turn it to a 90º angle and crank down a little harder like you wold with a Hex Key Wrench. The Pros: First: It saves you time and frustration looking for the right size wrench.Second: All of your tools are in one placeThird: It comes in a nice little bag, that goes in a nice little zippered case. ( I actually just put those things aside...but it is a nice touch) It fits nicely in a pocket.Fourth: It fits just about everything. I have tried it with all of my plates, and I have even tried it on the legs of my Manfrotto tripod...and it works. I am not saying that it will work on everything... but if you get one of these, you can try it on your kit and see where it works. It is not that you are tightening the legs on your tripod all that much, but it is a secure feeling to know that you can if you have to. (Most tripod companies don't give you a Hex Key Wrench for adjusting the tension on the legs)The cons: First of all, it costs a lot more than a bunch of free Hex Key wrenches. I just figure that it saves me time and frustration when I need to change a plate and I have to dig around my camera bag. $20 is quite a bit, but I have used mine several times since I received, and everything went faster and smoother than all of those times before.Second: I am not exactly sure how well built this thing is. I read a review that said that they busted off one of the Hex Key Wrenches, So, I guess, if you go into it knowing that you can be the Incredible Hulk if you aren't careful, you won't try to turn the screw to tight...just a thought. But really, if you just tighten it down without trying to make it never come out, you should be okay. So, That's my review on this tool. I like it, it works for me, and I use it. Give it a try, and I think that you will understand why I like it. Good luck.
