Easy to use and setup
I've owned and used several biometric locks and this safe if the easiest and simplest to enroll and use!! For some reason, my safe came with the side hookup for the A/C adaptor which makes the safe open faster than on battery only. My only issue so far is closing the safe... I have to really slam the door in order to lock it! Not exactly subtle ah!I'm a bit confused by the light indicators... They sometimes seems to stay on for no reason after I use the safe. Since it's on A/C adaptor, I'm not concerned about draining the battery, but this could be a problem if the safe wasn't hooked up.The safe open with a simple slide of the finger as advertised and it's a breeze to reconfigure it. Really neat!! The safe is very sturdy and rugged! Might get another one for some valuables as I use this one to store my firearm.

Pain in my backside
My opinion of this device is so far has been a major pain in my backside. The instructions were not easy to follow and I have not been able to program the fingerprints into the system so I have yet to use it since buying the product over a month ago. I use the key to open the safe however I have been meaning to call and have this box troubleshot however I cant find the time due to my schedule and my being a single parent. I had help from a friend who was also in the military and neither one of us could figure out how to get the safe to work properly. I will be sending this back or having someone help trouble shoot it as there is a rattling noise inside the safe that might be the button located inside because all I feel is a stick of some sort so perhaps the button detached or something during shipping. I would not recommend this product which is a shame because the majority of the reviews were great and that's why I chose this. I do not want to think " did I remember to take the key out of the safe " when I leave my room.

Best biometric pistol safe available!
These safes have the latest version 3 which has a much improved reader. Mine came with the AC adapter & this makes the openeing almost instant. I've enrolled several of my fingers & have had zero problems using any of my enrolled prints. I also was curious & have had several friends swipe their fingers that were NOT enrolled. Never once has it opened for anybody else, & when they are done trying, a single quick swipe from me opens safe immediately. If you want a safe, secure way to store your loaded hadgun, you simply can't do better than this unit. The key lock is hidden under a cover that most would not even realize. There are 3 holes drilled in the bottom for the optional mounting bracket. I simply used a small cable (type used on the Gunvault safes), secured to one of the holes & wrapped around the closet shelves & thru an eyebolt attached to a wall stud. The cable won't stop a determined theif, but prevents kids or anyone from easily moving the unit. Unit is American made also!I was torn between a mechanical or biometric safe. I'm glad I chose this unit now. In the middle of the night, under stress, I'm not sure if I would remember a 4 or 5 digit code. With the Inprint, just a quick swipe & I'm armed.

Good product but needs more quality control
After overcoming an initial problem, I find this safe to be an excellent product. It is easy to program and opens every time. However, before programing the safe, I tried to open it with the key supplied and it would not open, so I had to return it to 9G. Customer service there was great, and another safe was returned to me quickly, but had the key and lock been checked before the original safe was shipped, I would not have had a problem. Now, I discover that the battery cover is missing - a small thing but another sign of poor quality control.

Great product & Excellent Customer Service!
Before I purchased my first handgun, I needed a way to secure it from my curious daughter - and to be able to convince my wifethat only WE could QUICKLY access it when we needed it ! After doing extensive online research, I decided that biometrictechnology was the way to go and ordered the 9G INPRINT safe. The safe arrived quickly but had been damaged intransit. I called 9g customer service and was connected with its president, Ken Stacy ! Ken quickly determined that the safe had been damaged, sent me a pre-paid return label, and he immediately shipped areplacement safe. No prodding necessary on my part !My new safe arrived two days later and I had it programmed with my finger prints in five minutes. The process is simple especially since 9 G has online video instructions. I can literally quickly open the safe in the dark, with my eyes closed !Bottom line, this gun safe is sturdy, well designed and built, has state of the art finger print recognition, and is sold by a companywith a great customer service ethic. I highly recommend it !P.S. 2 weeks later I also bought the optional half shelf. Nice upgrade and fits perfectly !

INpring Bipmetric Fingerprint gun safe-terrible at best!
I spend $100.00 more for this gun safe than for the cost of a Barska and expected Inprint to be much higher quality. When closed, the door is not tight and there is enough of a gap to pry it open (flimsy door material) with a screw driver. The biometric sensor is pure junk., I have been reduced to using this with the key. The reader will not correctly read your finger print and is unreliable, not something I would trust in an emergency. My suggestion is to get a gun safe wit the 4 digit keypad and stay away form Inprint.

Spacious but hard to open.
Spacious enough to hold all 7 of my handguns. The only issues that I had was the bright monitor light on the power supply, some electrical tape fixed that, and the point that it does not read my finger prints very well. Most times it takes about 5 or 6 tries using different fingers to get in. At times I have to go get the key to open it. One time pass of my finger has never worked.

Not long lasting
The fingerprint scanner stopped working and subsequently I am left with a very expensive lock box. Luckily I have the key so I can still open it. Also, the AC cord broke off at the point of connection at the bottom of the box. Also, there's a lot of play when the door is latched.
