Love them
Here is what you need to know:Noise cancellation (4/5):Good not great. Don't expect anything amazing out of these they are very much just good. You will definitely hear noise around you without playing any music but it will be muffled. When you're playing music it works pretty well and personally I don't think any more NC is necessary. There is a NC-adjust feature that is supposed to improve the NC performance depending on environmental noise. Can't really attest to it since I don't depend on it but it is there.Sound (4/5):Good sound quality! I was very impressed with the overall quality delivered wirelessly and am very pleased with it. It delivered better-than-expected sound quality and has a good balance between mids, highs, and lows. NOT bass heavy but bass-heavy headphones generally suck and should be avoided like the plague. Unless you want to rock your skull then lower-bass headphones are better. I have a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50s and a FIIO E7 desktop sound amp which delivers very nice headphone sound quality and these Sonys are just about as good as the M50s in my opinion. If you really spend time scrutinizing it you will probably like the M50s better but I think for most people it is a really unnecessary difference.Construction (4/5):Well constructed! Very lightweight, ergonomic design, and simple construction makes for a solid pair of headphones at this price range. Ears swivel a good bit and will adjust to fit to your head. My biggest gripe is with the band because it's not well-padded and did get uncomfortable after a little while. I bought a headphone band sleeve just for it and stuck a few pieces of memory foam inside to give it some better support which has definitely improved my experience with them. Also - I swapped the stock ear pads out with black Brainwavs HM5 pads and didn't really even try out the stock ear pads. I don't even really bother trying the stock earpads anymore because I know the Brainwavs ear pads are better and softer so I always switch to them. If you haven't tried getting quality ear pads for whatever headphones you're using you should definitely get a pair. Of all the headphones and sound amps I've bought I still consider the ear pads the best investment because they improve the headphone experience immensely. Nothing else changes the overall comfort of the headphones the way a good pair of ear pads do.Battery (5/5):Amazing battery. Absolutely no complaints with the charge duration and they recharge quickly, too. One of the best things overall about these headphones, in my opinion.Connectivity (5/5):I've been able to walk more than 30 feet away from my computer and STILL hear the music playing through my headphones. I can walk out of my room, down the hallway, down the stairs, and around a corner into the kitchen and STILL hear them. It's kind of crazy how good the wireless range is and is a great feature.Functions (5/5):Functions work well on the headphones and I haven't experienced any issues with them. NC-adjust is pretty neat but I don't use it very much.I tried to review this pair of headphones based on overall ability without "adjusting" for the price range. I rated multiple features of these headphones as "4/5" but then considered the whole package for the price range and for what you're getting for this price this is a 5/5 pair of headphones to me. Really solid pair of wireless NC headphones that will get the job done for most anything an ordinary person wants to do. Just think about swapping the ear pads and maybe getting a pad for the band because they will improve the comfort of ANY pair of headphones that you do get.

Oh Damn
Yeah, so these are great.Fantastic build quality, comfortable, GREAT sound quality for the money. Just download the Sony Headphones app and use it to customize exactly the kind if sound you want. Noise cancelation blocks out background drones rather well. Very useful button layout on the headphones.-Recommendation: install the Sony headphones app. Let's you customize just about everything.Update: I've had these headphones for about 9 months now, and to say they've seen heavy use would be a massive understatement. I use them every single day extensively. The battery life is insane. I often think "oh no, I don't remember when I charged my headphones last," press the power button, and hear the delightful "battery level, medium." They've gotten to low battery once. One time. I hadn't charged them in a week. These things actually became more comfortable over time. The somewhat stiff pads around the ears (which I actually really liked anyway) has evolved into a more forgiving and plush material that fits even better than before.I was inspired to update this review today when I dropped the headphones. Hard. They fell off the top of my refrigerator onto a hardwood floor. It wasn't a graceful fall either. Sounded like I dropped a brick. They're fine. No marks, no rattles and they sound as good as the day I received them. I am beyond impressed by these cans.Unless I get the funds to throw down on some Pandas, I'm sticking with these. Can't go wrong.Update 2: After over a year of HEAVY use, these things are still good as new. No changes in battery life or audio quality.

No basis for comparison
I've never used wireless or noise-cancelling headphones before but I needed a new set of headphones and am always arguing with my cord because the jack is on the wrong side of my laptop for me. Anyway, when my old ones broke I took the opportunity to buy a wireless set. Here's are a few things to keep in mind about these:(First off, the price right now is about four times what I paid for them--I'd never buy them for three-digit numbers.)They were a little tricky to get set up and work--once everything was installed my computer actually had to be restarted, something not needed for that kind of thing for decades now. They're fairly heavy duty. They're very comfortable to wear, even for hours on end. I tried a different pair and had to return them because they hurt my ears. The cups on these swivel which is a feature I love in Sony headphones. The battery lasts for a good long while. I usually use them for a few hours a day and charge them about every three to four days, well before the battery runs dry. (Find out what the charge level is when they're on by giving the power button a quick push-and-release.)They have really good range. I can walk all around in the house with them on.Noise cancelling does a pretty fair job of drowning out noises--if the hubby naps next to me I put these on just so I don't hear his snores and it works.

Steal of a deal
The noise cancelling feature of the WCH700N is very solid, but Where the WCH700N really impresses is the sound. Great low end bass, no bleed into the detailed mids and vocals are super clear. The headset itself is light and the earpads are spacious and comfortable. Button controls (which I prefer) are precise with a quality feel. Easy to memorize them after a couple of usages. The headset does creak a little, but not when you have it on your head. Looks stunning and certainly worth more than I paid. Download the Sony connect app to pair with these, and I found my perfect EQ which was the "Exciting" mode. Fiddle around with the app to suit your own musical fidelity. The app now has the bonus of 3D sound equaliser if you want to experiment too. Leaving the NC to one side. These WCH700N's are right up there on sound and comfort with the more expensive flagship models. Test them if you can and you will be sold!
