3/8 Inch Brass Round Rod, Favordrory 2PCS Brass Round Rods Lathe Bar Stock, 3/8 Inch in Diameter 14 Inch in Length

I got these today. I needed to put a slight bend in one so I clamped it into a wooden vise and pulled on it with my hands. It bent fine and then it didn’t. I was trying for a gradual arc and on the fourth bend it just snapped. I have not worked much with brass but this is the fifth piece I’ve bent and the first one to break. The other four were pieces that were already in my shop that I got from a salvage yard. Apparently they were better quality. If anyone wants to weigh in with more brass experience than I’ve had I can change my review.

Not much to say, but it is what listed and got. Recommend it.

For me the rods were packaged clean and ready to be used. I use a rod like this for checking 45 caliber gun barrels for safety.

These rods are almost to beautiful to use. So refined.
