Apple iPhone XS Max, 256GB - Space Grey (Renewed)

This is my first time buying a second hand phone online. However I was not disappointed. I purchased this phone for my daughter as a Christmas gift. When it came in the package there was a screen protector which I was not expecting. The charger and the charging cable were really good quality. The phone looked like it was brand new. The screen was in excellent condition and the working system is brilliant. The battery life is excellent. Overall I am genuinely pleased with my purchase and My daughter is extremely happy.

Paid £305 for this Dec 2022. I can find no blemishes on the outside although my eyesight isn't great. The battery has a max capacity of 87%. That's good enough, probably need a new one in 12-18 months. The screen is an original OLED screen. I previously returned the same model of phone to another amazon refurbishment partner who had replaced the screen with a thicker, cheaper and lower spec LCD screen (keep an eye out for that!). All features seem to work fine, so far. June 2023 update. Still happy. Battery Maximum Capacity now at 86%

Brought my daughter an iPhone XS Max for Christmas managed to set up an email but straight away it went into activation lock and been unable to use the phone ,Apple have stated it’s down to the original owner of the phone reporting a problem Wich is why it’s gone into activation lock and Apple are wanting me to provide original proof of first purchase Wich seller don’t have and now seller refusing refund I am now £179 down and without a phone for my daughter , very disgusted

I had a little trepidation about buying renewed, but, although it's very early days (I'm still in the process of setting it up - which is made very easy by sitting it next to my current phone and letting it go through the motions), this looks such a smart (pardon the pun) renewed phone. the phone's case - both glass and metal are in really lovely condition. There is a mark on the front screen that is about 1.5 inches long. you can feel it with your fingernail but it's barely noticeable. There's a scratch on the rear that is about half an inch long, but that's it. It's listed on Amazon as Excellent condition, but good on UR.co.uk. I'd really have to go with excellent, with only the two minor blemishes tha it has. I will report back on battery health, once it has finished setting up, but I'm very impressed with my first foray into the renewed phone market. The phone was packaged very securely in a cardboard pack, that folded several times and kept the phone nice and safe. In with the phone was a new charging cable (USB-C to lightning), a sim card "prong" tool, to help pop out the sim tray and......a little pack of sweets, as a thank you from the seller. Nice touch! So, all in all, do not be put off by renewed phones (unless the battery turns out to be in poor condition - later on that), as i can say that my experience is very positive, certainly as far as UR.co.uk is concerned.

I wanted a cheap upgrade from an iPhone 7 Plus. I considered the 12 pro Max but didn’t want to spend £1100+ on a phone that loses 40% of its value in the first 12 months. Hence I opted for the XS Max which I think is comparatively great value for £500 (look at online reviews/ videos etc). The Package didn’t come in the original apple packaging, but to be expected with a refurbished phone. The phone was suitably packaged and protected so really happy overall. The Charger + Charging Cable aren’t official apple products. I haven’t used these as I’m sceptical about using unofficial chargers/ cables so I am using the charger and cable from my iPhone 7 Plus. I was expecting to get the official apple charger and charging cable so this was disappointing and something to bare in mind if you don’t already have apple chargers and charging cables. The phone arrived in excellent condition, no major scratches on the phone itself. There are minor scuffs on the phone screen (barely noticeable). This is to be expected with a refurbished phone and nothing to worry about. Battery Health is 88% and considering this phone is around 2.5 years old this is really good and as long as the phone isn’t left to charge overnight/ left on when fully charged this should last for a decent amount of time. The phone itself works as expected (really quick, camera + screen display is excellent, apps work etc.) and syncing from my previous phone was easy. Nothing particular to highlight in relation to phone performance. Overall I’m really happy with the product after 1 week. I’d definitely consider buying a refurbished phone in the future after this one (Reusing refurbished phones is sustainable and you get a big saving compared to buying new). If you’re not worried about having the latest phone I’d definitely recommend going for a refurbished phone with Grade Mobile really pleased with the product overall.
