Excellent product
I have used these for two seasons. Not as strong as some metal canes I have purchased but significantly cheaper. You just need to ensure they are placed closer together and well supported with side canes. Have stood up to strong winds and held to heavy crops really well. Don't forget though, they must be given more support as they aren't as strong but very pleased with my purchase.

Very difficult to erect.
I bought this ‘cos my canes were rotting and breaking and I wanted a permanent solution. My initial look on arrival and it seemed good. A month later when I came to erect it, it’s not good. I followed instructions which didn’t work when it came to put it in the ground. 1) it’s too tall - even with 10” or more in the ground it’s to tall. Why do you need to reach the top? Well: 2) the Y clips don’t stay on the cross bar and you can’t reach them to put them on, also: 3) the end that is going into the Y-clip doesn’t fit snuggly, it overlaps the cover on that end so is slightly crooked and then shoots through and you end up with it sticking out above the clip. Even standing on a ladder I could not get the clips to stay on, or the end to not come out above the clip. In addition whilst trying to get it in deep enough so I could reach it, the metal rods started to bend. So, not very strong, easy to assemble on the ground, but pretty much impossible to erect in place. Do not recommend this product at all. Needs a design rethink by someone who has actually tried to erect it.

What I wanted, but.....
I had been looking for a sturdy runner bean frame for some time so was please to find this. I ordered two as I lie to grow a lot of runner beans. Arrived OK and seems well made, however, erecting them was a bit a nightmare if you are under about 8 feet tall. `it is very difficult to put them up if you follow the manufacturers instructions. Th 'A' brackets ten to pull apart and come unattached from the cross bar when positioning the frame. As it very tall it is then difficult to reattach them without standing precariously on a ladder! I did manage it in the end with aid of someone else and also by positioning the lower sections in the ground before attaching the top 'A' frame part. But still very difficult. However, now erected it seems fairly sturdy but only time will tell , especially if we get high winds.

needs two people to assemble
had difficulty getting it to clip together but once up it has stayed together even in windy weather, very difficult to get it put together on your own, took two of us and a third person came to help in the end.

RUBBISH
These are not strong and robust. I thought this was a very good product when I put it together to grow runner beans on. However once the runner beans had grown up and a few were ready to pick, a very slightly windy day broke all the connectors and left me with a mess to sort out and try to prop up with conventional canes. If my repair can last until the beans have cropped, all of this support will go in the bin. I thought these were an investment but instead they were just an expensive mistake.

Four Stars
A bit fiddly to erect but strong and better than canes.
