Product came exactly as described. I use it for the same purposes as everyone else, g2g jars. I dump the required amount into a mixing bowl and filled the bowl with water. I submerge my hand hose, kitchen sink sprayer into the water and rye and agitate it using the pressure from the spray hose. Tilting the bowl allowed the unwanted. particulates to flow over the edge and down the drain. I save more water by doing it this way. My water is RO and I don't like wasting it. The grains had very little hulls and mud. Even after soaking with gypsum for 24 hours and boiling for 10 mins, then PC for 90+ mins, I saw zero popped grains. Seemed to cool nicely as well, just had to spread them out well enough. They taste amazing btw. I plan on using a couple handfuls as an addition to the grainbill, next time I do a home brew. Super breadt, very flavorful.

In addition to the title I found the product to be uniform making cooking easier. It contained very little, and I mean very little, extraneous material, virtually no unwanted seed types, and only a little dust.

Awesome product! Very clean, very fresh product it isnt all shriveled up like rice, the bag it is in is great for the storage. They are awwesome i had a holistic friend recommend these because i love rice, oh my god this has totally replaced all of my rice lol. I am a powerlifter, i eat a lot and these are priced great!! shipping is high but eh ill buy from here indefinitely. BUY BUY BUY

Bought this as substrate for growing a few gourmet mushroom strains and all I can say is WOW! I've been doing mycology work for years and these are some of the best rye berries I've come across.They're very easy to soak and sterilize in a pressure cooker. I like to soak them in some canning jars for 24 hours to bring out the endospores and make it easier for pressure cooking. When done right, very few berries will explode, making for much better substrate. Mycelium grows very quickly on these and produces some great fruits.For people not interested in mycology work – yes, the berries will sprout and grow.
