12-24 volt a/c or d/c both work fine.
was looking for a motion light to run from 24 volt batt bank when grid power goes down ,This works perfect. lights up the front aera of my property. I expect to order two more for the back, 30 watt each x4 = 120 watt less than the holegen lights i have on grid. I recomend it .

Perfect For Solar Powered Shed
We purchased the AFSEMOS Lighting GLW 30 Watt PIR motion sensor lights for our solar powered shed. It is mounted inside and provides plenty of light for the purpose. From the current drawn we can confirm that they are closer to 20 Watts than 30. I would estimate that it puts out about as much light as a 90 to 100 Watt incandescent reflector floodlight. We purchased the "Daylight" color temperature version for the crisp white appearance. It was close to 5K and would not be considered blue-white.A U-bracket comes attached for mounting and provides some angle adjustment. With 13.6 volts applied from a solar powered lead battery it came right up and had plenty of sensitivity and delay range for coming in and out of the shed and retrieving tools and mowers. The knobs are delicate so be gently while adjusting. Our units are mounted inside, away from direct rainfall but the lights look generally rain resistant. With that said, let's be real about these fixtures.... They are for light duty use and never commercial. For about $15 each let's adjust our expectations. Many screw-in LED reflector bulbs alone cost this much. Here you get the lamp, a 12 Volt enclosure, and PIR detector for one low price. For outdoor use I would replace the screws with stainless and while at it, place a bead of silicone around the joints.I like the lights and would purchase again if more areas need lighting. This report will be revised if anything changes.

Lights up my back yard
I got a 2-pack but have so far only installed one. I have a solar system set up for lights out in a shed in the back (no power run out there). It's also a very dark corner of the yard and hard to keep track of my dog at night.I've got the motion detection sensitivity maxed out and the light mounted about 10' off the ground. With that....the light turns on from nearly 50' away and lights up an area good enough to walk safely at night. My only dig is that the instructions are pretty vague and it took a bit of tinkering to figure out the time delay, day/night mode. Sensitivity I just put to max. I gave up on setting the day/night thing and put the light on a power supply that's only on after dusk. With a little tinkering I was able to get the timer set to about 2 minutes. Plenty of time to walk to the shed and back. The bracket is a simple u-bar so there's no side to side adjustment. That would be nice. The head of the motion detector swivels so I have it pointed directly toward the path I'll be coming from.I'm not sure what I'll do with the 2nd light. The first one lights up everything I needed.May 2023 update: Well....one of the pair (the one mounted to the shed) is kind of a rusty mess. The aluminum, LED, and lens are holding up well. But everything else is kind of a mess. The plastic cover over the motion detector (and I assume the light sensor) has a crack and is looking really bad (sun bleached?). So....now the light sensor doesn't function correctly so the light is coming on and staying on for several minutes, dozens of times per day. It's run my solar/battery system dead several times to the point I just disconnected the outdoor light. Indoor one still works great for lighting up the interior of my shed.

motion sensor not weatherproof
The light is nce and bright, but the sensor is not water tght. I have 4 of these, after less than 2 years only one still works, the rest all shorted out the sensor afgter water got in.They just start flashng non stop. Might be fine in the desert, but not South FL.

works great
I ordered these a few years ago to install on my garage that is powered by a 12v solar setup. They have worked great for over 2 years and I have no complaints.Very bright.Motion sensor adjustments are perfect for fine tuning.

This wasn’t waterproof like it says
I mounted the light above my shed door pointing back to house. The motion sensor worked good and the timer also. The light was great, really bright.then winter came and the light came on and stayed on for the evening. Then it went out and didn’t come back on. Went out and looked at it and the motion sensor was full of water. I got two and the one still works but it’s location is different where water is not as prevalent. It was a wet winter but the advertisement did say waterproof.
