EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER Medical Backpack Tactical Knapsack Outdoor Rucksack Camping Survival First Aid Backpack

I'm a combat medic in the US Army and being one for a while has set some high standards that I look for in gear not only for my self but my family.I usually run with a Tasmanian tiger med bag because it's big enough to fit things that I need for a average day (1-2nights) in the field and it fits down by my feet when in a Humvee. I was looking for something larger to keep with me during longer FTx's or OPs. Being that I'm in the military and going to school I don't like to spend more than I have to. Lo and behold I came across this Aid bag I thought it would be great to take on patrols. How ever when it arrived to my home and I bestowed my eyes on it for the first time I realized it would not work in its current form. The front quick access panel has elastic retention. Which would be fine and a very nice selling point except for and I take full responsibility I did not realize at the time is that the loops where you would typically mount tourniquets or any immediate life saving measures are too small in some cases even too small to put a pencil through. The top pouch is a typical size for what you would use it for I keep my stethoscope and surgical role in it along with three tourniquets because those are the only loops in the entire pack that I find adequate enough to keep them from flying around my pack. Moving to the inside of the pack, I will give credit where credit is due and it was very smart and clever of the designer to allow the pack to almost unzip completely flat in it's filleted open form. However the flap that makes the covering for the entire pack has some spaces that are poorly used a couple of examples are the gimmicky water bottle or pistol carriers that take up the top portion of the flap this would be a great space to add a small velcro pouch to keep t3c cards or some small diagnostic equipment such as a oximeter. One other grievance I have are the zipper pouches on the insides only extend as far down as the mesh shows meaning you can't even put Sam splints in those pouches I would like to see that improved in a perhaps future generation of the pack. To boot at the bottom there is no hook and loop/Velcro or any elastic retention straps at the base of the flap if I were designing a aid bag I would use every square inch of available space to mount medical gear or even something as simple as a sharpie. Moving to the main part of the pack there are two side sections that make up the side of the pack when zipped. If looking at the pack as if it were hanging on a wall the left side is entirely elastic retention straps which ordinarily I would have no gripe with however these loops are too tight to even hold a Ace wrap without the plastic around it ripping and some instances I have torn open curlex just trying to get it through the loop I imagine these were intended for tourniquets however they are even too tight for those I currently have emergency pressure bandages shoved through them (although I had to align my chakras six ways till Sunday and make a deal with the devil to even get them through the loops). Now if you once again imagine the bag hanging and you move to the right side you will notice two zipper pouches I find that the only thing that fits in these are Band-Aids and a handful of gloves in the other pouch. I would love to see in the new iteration of this pack a full length zipper running along the back side of these pouches to maybe necessitate the carrying of a Sam splint or two when folded up and neatly. Everything I have listed above so far I have grievances with that I can come to terms with. However moving to the middle section the velcro pouches are so inadequate and that's anyone who claims to fit anything in them besides a small handful of 2x2 gause would it be lying and should not be trusted and a good day and only if you buy a dinner first you could fit three tourniquets in it. This is the case for the rest of the pouches. I personally would like to see them increase in width and a little in-depth so that I could fit a pocket BVM (fantastic product by the way if you are a medic make sure to look them up). The workaround I have found for this is taking the pouches out of my Tasmanian tiger aid bag and sticking them where they included ones should be.In conclusion I think if you worked as a American Red Cross CPR instructor on your free time and wanted to look cool this would be the pack for you however upon actually getting the product in hand and using it for a while. I realize now that that wouldn't even save your street cred.I think that elite spanker is a fantastic brand in fact I use almost exclusively they're Molle pouches.I feel that this pack is trying to appeal to too many different walks of life rather than focusing on what it should be and is branded as....a aid bag if they made the improved version even with a larger price point I would buy it seeing as I love the brand and hate to see that something like this with so many oversights has made it to production.Now as a message to whoever made this pack I wholeheartedly mean it when I say if you would like me to help you in designing a improved version feel free to reach out to me as I will even work for free when it is something I enjoy just be sure to keep the fridge stocked with bangs as payment.With love from your most loved and critical 68 whiskey, John Warren.

Best thing about this bag is that it is well organized. I have a lot of medic gear so it took a few hours arranging things the way I like them, but having the zipper pouches to organize everything made the process easier. I was even able to fit one pouch long ways instead of side ways, and then put another non-velcro pouch next to it for the stuff I need quick. The pouches have super strong velcro. It takes some good effort to remove them from their attached spot so be sure that you have them arranged exactly as you want them before setting the velcro in place. I do like that feature because those pouches won’t fall out when I open the bag all the way open. The way that the bag zips completely to the bottom on both sides is also a big plus because I can get to the pouches that I need as well as the stuff in the side pockets and side elastic holders. I do wish the the front had regular molle straps instead of a single vertical daisy chain style strap down the middle. I really can’t attach anything on the front. However if it was regular molle in front, I could attach a molle hydration pouch. I tried attaching my mini camelback, but it doesn’t have molle at all so I couldn’t even use zip ties to tie the straps to the backpack. The color is good too; it’s a little off from regular coyote tan, but not a deal breaker. I added small molle pouches to the sides for personal stuff and I can still fit a 16 oz water bottle in either side pouch. I didn’t take pictures, but I used it in a two different rugged campground areas about two weeks after it came in the mail, and it held up very well. The pack is comfortable to wear for short periods of time. The shoulder straps seem kind of short so that even after cinching them down, the thickest part of the padding is still way up high and behind the back of my shoulders instead actually on my shoulders and the chest strap was almost under my neck. I had to actually remove the chest strap and reattach it lower on the shoulder straps. The hip belt is hard to adjust to make it fit properly on me and it kept riding up and ending up on my stomach which of course defeats the purpose of having a hip belt. I think the problem of the should straps is that the pack is designed to hold a good amount of weight, but the straps should be set up like a quality hiking backpack with load adjusters at the top of the shoulder straps. This would allow the shoulder straps to be adjustable and allow the hip belt to fit properly on the hip to take most of the weight of the backpack like it’s supposed to. If the strap system was better, I would give this a 5 stars. Overall I am satisfied with this rugged and well organized pack.

Pleasantly surprised! Took a chance and so glad I did. Well made. Super comfortable. Haven't had to use it in the field. Seems handy. I suppose I'd like to have a large zipper compartment on the bag itself. Nevertheless, glad I purchased it. Shipped quickly despite saying otherwise. That was nice too!

Me and my wife were expecting our second child and wanted a diaper bag that was organized, well built, and versatile. So far this back pack is awesome! It holds diapers for two kids, changes of clothes, toys, creams, lotions, books, coloring supplies and snacks. It has way more support and comfort while wearing it than our old diaper bag. We love this bag!

Maybe this is silly but my medical knowledge is middling at best. Instead I use this as a diaper bag for my one year old. The oversized outside pockets, lots of interior space, and super organized compartments make being a dad on the go hella easy and I’m bothered by its presence either as a thing to carry or a fashion piece.Achievement unlocked: retain manliness😎👍

This pack is pretty impressive for the price. I looked at many different medical bags both here on Amazon and on other websites before I settled on this one. I'm glad I did! The quality seems to be great and the amount of gear you can fit is more than adequate. Are there better made bags with more space and features? Yes. BUT, you're going to be hard pressed to find something at this price point that seems as sturdy and spacious as this. If you're looking for a backpack style medical bag that filets open or just a medical bag in general, you could do lot worse than this!

Came across this when I purchased the dog harness from the same supplier. It's got potential. Ordered and arrived quickly. Very well made, some loose stichings but nothing that cannot be fixed. It has enough molle and pockets that I need to put my stuff. I like the Velcro bag inserts inside which you can customise to your needs. I am not going to use this as a Medic bag but mainly everyday carry or sometimes my camera bag for short trips. I can pretty much fit in a small padded camera bag inside and accessories. Water bottle outside and maybe a small tripod too. As mentioned there's plenty of room for molle attachments. My only negative comment about this hence the 4 stars is the quality of the shoulder pads. It's very thin which can get worn out easily compare to my 5.11 (see photo comparison) size wise just slightly longer. Can't wait to use and test this on Monday.

I get the idea of pouches and plenty of zippers pockets to organize your stuff, but for how big this ghost-buster size pack is, it holds shockingly little.The pouches could be removed to give more space inside, but the zipper that comes all the way around in front makes accessing the main body awkward.

This bag is brilliant, well made and of the best quality materials. I am so happy I committed to this purchase. I will be using it as a day pack/ nappy bag for when I travel or commute with my toddler. This bag is so damn good, I'm considering buying another one for work. It will adapt to every situation, again just brilliant!!If you're considering this bag, just buy it you'll have no regrets.
