Re-Zip Seal Reusable Storage Bag Kit (Pack of 5)

I bought these cause I was feeling guilty about how many plastic bags I was using each day packing lunches for myself and my wife. I bought them expecting to use them for a week then go back to my ways. Im super surprised. Its been 6 months and now I'm annoyed if my wife uses all of them and I dont have any. We are buying more as I write this!The plastic is thick and very durable feeling. The zipper is awesome and never leaks. The sizes are perfect. The bigger ones fit a sandwich easily and the smaller ones fit snacks like vegetables or nuts.They are really easy to clean. I fill them with warm water and squirt some soap in, zip them up and shake them for 10 seconds. All the food comes out and then I rinse them.Drying can be a little tricky. You have to have a drying rack that can keep them open or I fold them in on themselves to prop them up so they drip dry on a towel. See the picture of one of them crumpled on itself drying.Overall, great bags, great quality and super functional. I also feel really glad every time I use them and don't have to throw away another plastic bag.

These are perfect for anyone who doesn't like to waste money and wants to help the environment.I got these bags hoping that they would help me reduce my plastic usage. I used to reuse "disposable" plastic bags for about a week before they got too gross and I had to throw them away. And if you try to clean the disposable bags they generally just tore, ruining them.My biggest worry was how difficult they would be to clean and how sturdy they were. If they were flimsy they wouldn't be worth the money. As soon as I opened the package I knew they were sturdy. These are thick! They will not be tearing any time soon. And they are easy to close with an obvious seal.So the big question: are they easy to clean. Yes! I put a tiny drop of soap in each bag and a splash of warm water. I seal the bag and then I shake it thoroughly. Then I rinse and wipe it out with a paper towel. It takes about 3 minutes to clean all 5.I'm super impressed with these!

We made a commitment this year as a family to be more environmentally friendly. This was the one of the first purchases we made to achieve our goal. We have had them a little over a month and they seem to be working well. Both my 6 year old and 3 year old can open these without any issue. Only down side I have seen so far is the staining. They take on the color of carrots for example.....but now we just try to use that same one to pack the carrots in for lunch. They do look a bit grungy when stained but I plan on buying more of the snack size, so I guess it doesn't bother us too much.So 7 months later for an update we have hand washed and taken good care of these bags despite the discoloration. However we are now experiencing the same issues other reviewers have with zipping these. Incredibly hard to get closed now. So about 6 months of use, hand washing, with no trouble....but now...ugh!

I bought these to make cold packs to mitigate pain from migraines. I was using regular gel packs but this works much better. They are colder and stay cold much longer. It is just salt water. Takes a little experimenting to find the ratio of salt to water that will not freeze solid when you put it in the freezer and to get the right amount of solution that the bag is comfortable to lie on. I tried using regular Ziploc bags, but even doubled they leaked badly. I was looking for a bag that is sturdy enough to lie on and leakproof. This is it! It is perfect. They also work well as travel bags for cosmetics and such.

I give them a 3 because they are durable. I bought them back in Oct. 2017 and I still use them (on occasion) I would like to use them more, but they don't zip. From day 1 maybe only 2:5 of them zipped okay. I use them for "Dry goods" that I take to work and I usually fold the top over and clip it. I think I will try another brand because I want to get away from plastic! I read another review and it looks like maybe I can "oil" the zipper part....I'll try that and HOPEFULLY it works because I like the concept.

These are my favorite silicone bags. I have been using Blue Avocado products for 4+ years so I'm very familiar with their items. They have changed their silicone bags from their original issue but these ones are definitely living up to par with the original based on durability and reliability. They are easy to close, work well with all snacks, super simple to clean and don't have a bad plastic-y smell. I do not recommend using in your dishwasher - hand wash only and air dry! They will last longer!! Also, if you find the lock isn't closing, use a drip of corn/olive oil to lubricate it and it will be back to normal in seconds. This is a direct recommendation from the manufacturer.

I wish I could do 4.5 stars. Best reusable baggies yet and I've tried them all. Durable, leak proof, great sizes! Easy to wash and use. However I stored watermelon in one and it dyed it inside. After several washes it's faded a bit but is still stained. My husband also put on in the top rack and after I gained my composure I saw it had warped a tad. Still useable just not as flat as before. It's so easy to hand wash and dry these so I do that from now on.

Bought these in March 2018 to try to reduce plastic waste. Six months in, they stopped being able to zip shut. Somehow the "zipper" warped and now they will not close making them the last thing from leak proof. I don't have a dishwasher and I've never used them in a microwave, so I'm not sure how they warped so badly. I now use them with a binder clip, but they're glorified, overly expensive pouches that aren't really good for storing anything but a half lemon or some nuts. Also, I did not expect them to be so hard to clean by hand! Due to all these reasons, I would not recommend anyone purchase as they are likely to end up in the trash.
