There are no measuring marks
This square doesn’t come with the blade marked with a scale like most squares. It is just a square.

I don't know how I lived without it.
For a little and inexpensive tool, I never thought I'd get so much use out of this square. I bought it, a wheel marking gauge, a marking knife, an Incra corner rule, Incra centering rule, and a regular Incra rule for mortise and tenon work, all to bring an extra level of precision to my work.I use the rules and square CONSTANTLY. They rely on a .5mm drawing pencil to use them properly, and together, deliver a level of precision that is far beyond what I had imagined. In the future I'll certainly pick up a couple more sizes. You should know that these squares do not have any measuring markings. They're not necessary when used as intended, and would only make for raggedy marks. If you do a lot of small woodwork, set-up work, squaring of your tooling, or cut marking, you'll love this little guy. I'm glad I tried it first before ordering the other sizes because it sold me.So far as the quality and construction goes, I'm a total pain in the ass about quality in my tools. I could not possibly be more pleased, and that's a huge accomplishment on this tool-maker's part.

beautiful and square
This is attractive, just the convient size for marking and square too.

It's square
The craftsmanship is rather disappointing, on the square that I received the wood is damaged where a rivet was pressed in without being aligned with the hole. The fit and finish is not what I would call craftsmanship, but more aligned with a production line.

Dead on.
Very nice finish details. Checked squareness first thing and it was dead on.

Square (1/2 a square)
I hadn't noticed before I bought it that you only get an inside square. They didn't put a brass straight edge on the outside of the rosewood so you could use it to adjust fences and blades. I would have figured for the price I paid for this square, they would have given me some more brass. Thankfully I have a larger rosewood square I can use for these tasks.

This fit my needs perfectly. I was able to ...
This fit my needs perfectly. I was able to ensure that my circular saw cuts were square enough for some visible precision butt joints, and to check adjacent sides of paneling. I also used to square up my table saw 0 degree indicator.
