Color by Numbers for Adults: Landscapes: Extreme Color by Numbers Intermediate to Advanced

My kids love these extreme fit to fit books. From age 15 I’m down to 6, they all love them. We buy several a month, definitely a favorite in our house.

I've not yet begun to color in this book, but the variety and type of scenes is great - seascapes, woods, mountains etc. The quality of the paper seems good, and I think it will stand up to light watercoloring, especially of the larger expanses of water and sky. The pages are not perforated, nor can they easily be cut from the book, if you were wanting to remove them for any reason. I was surprised, and not pleasantly, that there are no borders on the pages; the design runs right to all edges. That does not give it a finished look, in my view. I'm sure I'll enjoy coloring the scenes. Some improvisation will be necessary as not all areas are numbered - most but not all - and it is advised to determine color by adjacent colors.

What is it? A brief description of the pictures would be helpful! . A large color pencil stash would be helpful because of similar color swatches for each picture.It reminds of paint by number that were redone for pencil. Also have a magnifying glass for the numbers and coloring

I love the color by number books and this one is amazing. Don't get me wrong it is a bit time consuming but i love seeing the progress I've made and when the pictures are finally completed, they are amazing!

I wrote another review earlier today regarding a magnifier I purchased. I needed the magnifier for this book. The quality of the pages is not great and the numbers are really small. It has kind of put me off of actually completing any of the pages. I am sure they will turn out beautiful, but I am not sure I have the patience to actually decipher the numbers.

It maybe a color by number but the colors are so very hard to match. Of you are great at blending and shading them you will most likely enjoy. I suggest using coloring pencils. However if you are wanting to use markers I would beware. It is near impossible to match colors with the markers without a lot of time and finesse.

I bought this book because I like coloring landscapes but not always sure about colors I chose. Here’s what is bad about this book, you still see numbers after coloring. They should use a printed vellum like printed paper on top so you can display when done

I really like the selection of pictures in this color by numbers book. I've used crayons, markers, and colored pencils so far and the pages have held up well. I'm not the best at color mixing so if you're like me, I recommend starting with a set of at least 36 colors and then using the color test area provided in the book. There's enough here to keep me busy for ages. Overall, I highly recommend buying this book.

Really disappointed with this book. Way to many numbers in individual cells make it impossible to hide them. One number in each cell & maybe a couple in the abstract larger cells would have been all that was needed.

Not at all what I expected.

This book would be better if instead of binding it had a coil. it doesn't lay nice to colour.

Pas très impressionné par ce cahier à colorier. Il y a des manques, plusieurs zones n'ont pas de numéro. D'autres zones en ont plus d'un... Je ne recommanderais pas ce cahier à un ami.
