Pixy Canvas Floater Frame, White, 11 x 14 inch, Portrait, 0.75 inches Deep, for Canvas Paintings/Prints/Wall Art/Home Decor

I've been using an on-line frame site for over 10 years and was satisfied with their product and service until this year when the prices increased but their service decreased. I was fortunate to find this company and am so glad I did. While the frames may lack a bit of the nuance that a wood frame has the main objective is to enhance my paintings and this they have done with flying colors. A smaller frame (12x16) which I also got took a bit of fiddling to make it work with a narrow stretcher on my canvas but this one (16x20) went together perfectly in less than 5 minutes. I think I have found my new frame supplier for future paintings.

A number of reviews criticize the canvas installation hardware as useless. See attached photo, it's not useless. But it is not easy to use. The canvas frame edges, on most of your 5/8" and 3/4" thickness stretch canvas, do not extend far enough to make installation of the offset clips easy. It's possible, but not easy. And the depth of the offset clips, themselves, are about 1/8" too short. As you can see in the photo, this means the screws need to go in at a slight angle. Also the holes for the screws should be pre drilled, and an electric screwdriver is a must. I don't recommend trying to install this with a standard Philips #2 screwdriver, unless you like stress and frustration. But other than that, the frame is a good value for the money.

After searching on the internet, I started realizing it's not easy to get an affordable floater frame. This one is probably the easiest, quickest and most affordable of floater frames you can get. It's plastic not real wood I believe; however it serves it's purpose ok. I do feel the color complement my painting well. So I am going to keep it.

If you’re giving this product a bad review for the hardware, you’re doing it wrong. The frame comes with a paper with photos on the instructions to follow. Yes, if you look at the hardware that’s included it looks like it’s too short or may not work, but it actually works just fine! It’s easy to screw into the frame and then from there into the back of the canvas. Some reviewers photos show the canvas placed the wrong way into the frame. The part marked “wall side” is supposed to go against the wall. The thinner side of the frame will be what shows facing out. It came very well packaged and the price is so much less than having a frame made at the local shops. I highly recommend. My canvas looks way more classy hanging with the frame around it.

It was well packaged but as seen in picture 2 ours came with some scratches in the finish also shown in picture 1, I’m not a fan of how the corners are made, it’s as if you can see the staples holding it together. Also the metal clips to hold the canvas inside the frame will show once attached. So overall feeling disappointed in this for the cost.

These are pretty nice frames - perhaps not as sturdy as I had hoped - they feel light like plastic rather than solid wood - but perfectly fine, however - one of them arrived without the necessary screws/hardware. I wrote to the company and received no reply so I have written again, but in the meantime the frame is lying on the floor, unusable, and I may have to buy my own screws for it, an inconvenience. Not impressed with customer service.

Beautiful frame but it arrived broken. I didn't have time to return it so I had to fix it. Ugh.

Nice frame but the assembly hardware makes no sense. We ended installing the paint with double faced Velcro.

Good quality frame that is easy to fit canvas in as it comes ready made. The best packaging I have ever seen!

I was surprised at how quickly it arrived since it came from Europe. It was wrapped very well and protected in a wood frame and bubble wrap. This is the second time I have ordered from this company. This time I ordered the walnut. It looks very real and makes my painting will professional. I actually like that it is plastic because it doesn't make the painting even heavier.

I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived in very secure packaging - a wooden bracket and foam and delivered by fedex! It is a plastic type frame, however, once I mounted my painting, I was glad that it was of a light material. It made the painting look very professional

J'ai acheté ce produit pour encadrer une toile, dès l'ouverture de la boîte j'ai vu que le cadre était cassé, pourtant l'emballage était intact. Après inspection et vérification, j'ai vu que c'était super médiocre comme qualité et surtout pour le prix !!! par contre services à clientèle super efficace, j'ai obtenu un crédit en envoyant des photos. N'achetez pas !!!!

For what I paid for this frame I expected it to be allot nicer. It is just a cheap plastic frame stapled together and the corners don’t fit nice. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to return and go with something else. I would have been satisfied if the price was $15.
