Is there an advantage to foam filled vs the empty floats?

If they develop a leak they wont sink

Hello, for the 250lb float for this size dock, it will be 14 floats. If you went with the de99242F float it will be 9 floats.

How do I hook them together

There are holes at each corner that can be used to anchor the docks to the material you attach to the top. I used mine to make a floating duck dock, which I attached at each corner with a nut, bolt and washers.
