Pleasantly surprised
There are more expensive options out there but I got this when Amazon had an offer on. More than good enough for the casual gamer, only the hard-core-all-settings-on-max folks may find it lacking. Fans are noisy and it gets rather hot when pushing it on the graphics front, but other than that I'm very happy with just how capable it is. I added another 8gb of RAM just because it was a cheap win to keep things running smoothly.

Cheap and Powerful Laptop
I really like the screen of the laptop as it is 120hz screen. It has an awesome graphics card which can run most of the games that I play some including csgo, GTA 5, assassin's creed unity, AOT 2 and Fortnite all with good frame rate 60fps for high graphical games and 120fps for most e sports ready games

It was worth it
The laptop is really fast and very good for the money. Nothing to complain from it. Thank you very much guys

Great laptop but horrendous cooling performance.
Great all-round product with a big flaw that it cannot successfully cool the i7-8750h without throttling. I tested for 3 minutes and the CPU was at 99c. Sending it back i'm afraid.

Great Laptop Has Couple Downfalls.
The Pros:1: Great at handing 4k footage for video editing in primer pro and after effects (will probably upgrade the ram to be 16Gb though)2: The SSD, The speeds of the SSD are Blazing fast (Used Blackmagic disk speed test and was getting 1.4Gb Per second)3: Gaming on the laptop (Only played GTA 5, BO3 and Euro Truck Sim) GTA 5 on the Laptop runs around 60FPS give or take at high settings (No advanced setting touched) BO3 Was all High/Very High settings was getting 60/70FPS4: The Screen is Great panel found when doing any color work on it for photos/videos found it to be very accurate (not managed to test it properly with a screen calibration tools) but when viewing photos on other monitors and even prints they are very close. The Cons:1: BATTERY LIFE, while Gaming is less than an hour (video editing is around 2ish hours)2: SCREEN REFRESH RATES, so when I got the laptop and was unplugging the power I noticed the screen goes black for a couple of seconds same with plugging it in and I was confused by this then I notched the refresh rate of the screen seamed to drop so I opened the Intel graphics manger at it was dropping to 48Hz instead of 120HzSo whenever the laptop is on battery it drops to 48Hz which is very noticeable if it was going to drop wish it would drop to 60Hz min as 48Hz seems very laggy feeling but you can simply change it back to 120Hz but wish it would stay at that even after setting profiles in the Intel Graphics manager always drops to 48Hz on battery3. BLUE SCREENS, I have had this laptop blue screen 2/3 times over the last 2/3 weeks, not massive issue but is annoying found it blues screens if I was using the laptop and would go away and it would turn off the display I would move the mouse for it to come back and would blue screen HOWEVER after doing the newish windows update 1903 along with updating the Nvidia drivers (to update the drivers I had to reinstall them would not update with the default installed onesthe blue screen has seemed to of stop (from using it 1 week solid)4. TEMPERATURE, So when gaming on the laptop for longer than 10 mins the fans really start to kick in (Sounds like the laptop is going to take off) if you have headphones on it's not too bad. I had HwMonitor Running to see the temps and the CPU was getting average of 90/98°C Which is was not comfortable with it being that warm (GPU was around 70/80°C) After reading about the laptop I found posts other users made about re-thermal pasting the laptop and I have done it on many other laptops and desktops so was happy doing it, So took the laptop to bits and wiped off the old paste (Was very hard and dry) applied the new stuff to CPU and GPU Put the laptop back together and on the CPU it was sitting around 78/85°C (GPU at 60/72°C)4.5 Very minor thing The power brick during Charging gets VERY hot so just need to watch were its placed but knows this happens with a lot of laptops

Almost perfect
The laptop has nice designed looking and It is good to run most of my games in ultra high graphic quality, and worth the money. The only one problem, it’s easy to get very hot around keyboard when playing games in summer, so I am thinking about whether to get an gaming keyboard for it.

It is good to me
I had one good review that was declined. So I am keeping it short this time. This is very good laptop and worth it’s price. Battery is drained fast but I will use it close to a socket most of the time and don’t think that will ever bother me

unfortunately defected
this notebook should be very good I think, but it arrived with more than one defected, that's why I gave 2 stars. There are two issue, at least, with the graphic card: 1) when I insert or remove the power plug, the screen turns black for 2-3 seconds and then comes on and works properly. 2) When notebook go in standby mode and then again turns on, you can see the desktop cuted orizzontally in half. If there was a video playing, you can see the last picture (before it goes in standby) impressed for all the time. Only solution is to reboot.Touchpad was the real issue for me, it doesn't worked properly at all. As you can see from the picture, it was higher on the left side and lower on the right side, but I think there was something wrong from the inside, because sometimes it cannot read my finger on it, some other times cursor go up and down left and right in all the desktop.I sent it to asus assistance but the issue is still there, nothing was solved.Battery life was very good, all the buttons was good, mayby for the keyboard light I prefer the white one instead red, but there is only one color.
