Good Quality and Easy to Use
I’ve purchased two of these units so far. The first was purchased several years ago (prior to the pandemic) for myself. One of my fellow teachers had one [Due to nodes on his vocal cords, he needed to keep his own voice soft and low.] and recommended it. I work in a very old, somewhat derelict building with an air conditioning unit that sounds like a twin engine plane when it’s running! Trying to make oneself heard over it can be stressful. This product was very helpful and it also proved quite useful on field trips. This year, I was blessed with a lovely intern but the young woman had a very soft voice and often struggled to be heard by the children. So when the kids and I were putting a graduation basked together for her, we added one of these. She loves it!

Works good
The first one I I bought it, it didn't work, the headset didn't connect to the speaker. We tried many times, including turning it off and turning it on.... Despite this, I decided to give it another chance and order another one from the same company because I watched videos that are highly recommended. The second, worked well, connected immediately, the sound was mostly very good, clear without background noise. Ease to use.

"You look like a pirate. Or the airport person who tells you to get on the plane." - kindergartener
I am a traveling teacher of K-5 students, heavily tilted towards kindergarten and first grade. Right off the bat this school year, I caught covid and strep throat at the same time. Though both infections have dissipated, the sore throat and lost voice persist, as I can never seem to rest them enough. I don't think my new students even realize what my voice is supposed to sound like! And most of my students are not strong enough readers yet to be able to utilize written directions effectively. So I asked the school speech therapist for advice, and she recommended lots of hydration and a personal microphone/amplifier.(We have microphone systems in most of our classrooms but I travel between 22 classrooms in 2 buildings each week. It's a pain to figure out where the microphones are kept, to remember to return them after 40 minutes, and also they hang on a lanyard that's too far away from my mouth for them to pick up sound. Especially not through the masks I'm still wearing.)Anyway.I looked into the one the therapist recommended, and then I saw this one come up in the search. Waterproof? Heavy duty? Long-lasting battery? Yes please!I've only used it for one day so far, after charging all night. It worked a charm today. The microphone can get close enough to my mouth to pick up my voice even through a thick mask. I wore the speaker on my belt, which is good because that's about on-level for my smallest kids. It's easy to twist the microphone away from my mouth if I just need to talk quietly to one student or a small group. (It takes a bit of time to power off or on, but the battery life is such that it can stay on - at the end of the school day it still had almost two thirds power left.) And I'm glad for the waterproof feature, since the rain really picked up at bus duty today! My one bit of confusion so far is I don't know if there's a way to toggle the volume that comes out of the speaker itself, so to modulate volume, I'm currently just modulating my own voice. I haven't tried any additional features, but as far as I'm concerned, they're gravy. This item does the job I got it for, and it does it pretty darn well. This is the best my throat has felt since Monday morning before the kids showed up! And because I bought this for myself with personal funds, I'll be bringing it to my side hustle as a fitness instructor at the local YMCA. I'm optimistic it's up for a little test of toughness there.EDITED TO ADD: I have had this product for a few weeks now and I may love it even more. The charging port is awkward (tough to get the plug in the right angle) but that's part of the waterproof design, so that's a fair trade off to me. I am NOT a gentle person when it comes to belongings and this thing is like BRING IT ON! I love that I can clip it to my belt, but it also came with a strap so I can wear it like a little purse too. I still have not tried any additional features, though. The kids still like to pretend I'm a gate agent when I put them on the bus.

Useful Portable loudspeaker
This item is great as a portable loudspeaker. It has bluetooth capability for music but I wouldnt suggest it. The EQ isn't that great and the design is for loudspeaker so the treble is very high naturally. It did work well to use as a loudspeaker under my helmet, which was the point of my purchase. Battery life was pretty decent, walked around all day at a convention and think only got down to 65%. I did shut it off when I didn't have my helmet on. Came with two metal rings to hang it on a belt, USB charge cord and can be used as a backup battery for your phone.

The speaker that brings joy to all.
This item is fun and versatile. Great color and durable exterior material. The attachment clip is similar to that of a complimentary holding clip you would get at an event. Adjusting the volume takes anticipation and planning because you have to hold down the upper or lower pad to increase or decrease sound. Other than that this device is amazing, looking forward to trying the wireless version. For now I still use this device and the wired microphone works( good quality).

Speaker wearing mask and want to be heard to an audience?
I am what we now call a hybrid teacher during this pandemic. So I must wear a mask while trying to teach students in class as well as remotely. So I bought the amplifier to make sure the back of the room can hear me through the mask. It works so well that other teachers bought it. I can walk with my headset 48 feet and it still amplify my voice. I can walk around my entire science lab room and every student can hear me. This is the important part of my job. So the voice amplifier is well with the money.

The speaker and microphone are garbage, and I can't return it....
Like I said the speaker is probably the worst speaker I've ever heard. It sounds like its already been blown out. The microphone is also absolutely TERRIBLE it does nothing to help the already bad tinniness of the speaker. The controls are not intuitive and there's no indication of just how much you're pushing the volume up or down because there's just a constant loud hiss. It's either there when the volume is at its minimum or at its loudest UNLESS you go so far down that you mute it. Then it goes away. Don't waste yourr money on this garbage. SERIOUSLY.
