My Invicta Blue Review
My Invicta Blue automatic watch review (Model: 27631). To begin with, Invicta is a worthy brand to consider. The company has been around longer than most well renowned watchmakers. The thing about Invicta is that they are not afraid to be bold and different. My experience searching for an Invicta watch, is that I have to filter through most of their styles, many of which work best for men with larger wrist. These watches are great for football players like Jason Taylor No.99 of the Dolphins. He has a series of Invicta watches designed by him. I kept wondering why Invicta had watches named JT with the number 99 at the 9 o’clock hour – so it had to do with that. With that being said, I do end up finding a good selection of Invicta watches that I’d consider adding to my collection, like this one. My recent addition is this Invicta blue automatic watch. At the time of purchase, it was and still is 59.99. I’ve read reviews from others complaining about the fabric wristband that came with this watch. Let me tell you that you really need to trust those reviews. This has got to be the worst wristband that I’ve ever had. I highly recommend that if you do get this watch to immediately consider switching it to either a Nato type strap, leather band or even a metal band. Anything – just don’t even bother with the strap that it came with. I still consider this to be an excellent purchase. This is a diver watch and an automatic from a decent watch maker at just 60 dollars. If you consider an extra 10 dollars on average for a 22mm replacement band, then you’re looking at a total of 70 dollars spent for this automatic diver watch that is just extremely beautiful to look at – to me, it’s a great bargain and a great intro into the world of automatics. I’ll add photos which will include the watch with a black leather band, an18mm blue/red stripe strap (pins will still show but if that doesn’t bother you– still works fine), and a Ritche 22mm NATO strap. I’m wearing the NATO strap in a non-traditional way – if interested in that – take a look at YouTube video called ‘Over-Under//The Ultimate NATO Strap Technique’ (just my preference). Go on vacation with it. If it’s lost or stolen, it’s not such a terrible loss compared to a Rolex or Omega being stolen (their prices are beyond me at this point in my life). If held at gunpoint, I’d say please just take my Invicta. If it were a Rolex or Omega, I might risk my life. Who needs that stress. Thank you, Invicta. So even with the terrible fabric band that this watch came with, I would still give it a 5 start review. To be honest, I’ve only owned it now for a few days. So far, it’s keeping perfect time. I’m not a diver and will only be using this on occasion for informal or semi-formal events. The only other con for me besides the wrist band, is that it has a saucer shape to it where the lug ends of the watch are high up and do not hug close to the wrist as much as I would like. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: I've only been using a 22mm dark blue leather quick release leather strap from Fullmosa (currently on Amazon for 11.99). Very comfortable. I gave up on the NATO straps that work better for my Seiko field watch. Adding a picture with the Fullmosa strap.

Good watch, garbage strap
Another nice looking Invicta. If you've gotten an automatic dive from them before than you already know what to expect. If you haven't go on YouTube and look up "Invicta automatic diver" and you'll get a ton of videos on the subject. HOWEVER, as stated by others the strap on this is absolute garbage. It's insanely thick and has the watch sit like half an inch above your wrist. It would be very much worth it to find a better nato on Amazon when you're ordering this watch. Also wouldn't hurt to add that the lume on this doesn't last long. I mean, it lumes very well, almost too well. But it doesn't last very long.

Terrible band, watch is good
It’s a nice watch but the band is unbearably stiff and unusable in my opinion perhaps after some time of use it would Loosen up a bit, But it would be torture to use it and try to get it to loosen up.

Blue is Beautiful
I truly like the watch, I replaced the original band with a different canvas band with retractable pins.

Blue
This has been a very good watch. The NH movement keeps time as good as my Seikos with similar movement. I actually bought this to mod, but instead have been wearing it with a variety of straps. My only blue watch.

Me gustó mucho este reloj, el único detalle es la correa que no me gusto, pero la calidad y precio del reloj valen la pena. El reloj llegó muy rápido.

This is a very attractive watch. The watch colours all work well together. I replaced the band straight away with a more traditional rubber/poly blue divers band with a gold clasp and the watch looks even better. Keeps perfect time and looks good as a weekend jeans and t-shirt watch.
