You Get What You Pay For
While I am no radio expert by any stretch of the imagination, I can definitely say this Crosley is good for its price. In my opinion, what Crosley does best is provide consumers with a wallet-friendly piece of hardware that still retains an aesthetically-pleasing appearence. I personally like the chrome finish and aircraft-inspired design elements of radios from the 1950’s/1960’s and this radio definitely fits that category. Appearences aside, it has a relatively decent speaker (mono not stereo) and excellent bluetooth capabilities. Volume control is real fine and tuning is decent. The Mockingbird comes with an adapter which is convenient if you don’t have any batteries. With batteries, however, the radio functions on the move and can be easily carried via the attached strap. The only gripe I had with Crosley was the fact there was no mention of a wire antenna in the instruction manual or how to manually set it up.

Great looking speaker, wish it came with the rechargeable battery.
Very good looking speaker. The sound quality is fair to good. I was disappointed that it didn’t come with the rechargeable battery, and I had to separately purchase a few different ones to find the right mAH and voltage for this radio Buy GX18650 2600mAh 3.7V. Overall happy with it after figuring out the battery issue.

Perfect Speaker
This speaker might be small, but gives great sound. We have been very impressed with it so far and love the look of it even more. Easy to set up, charge and play.

Disappointed but taking a second chance
I really want this radio to work as advertised. I ordered despite some of the negative reviews. There's always a few negative reviews on every product, I figured I would be lucky and get a good one. I did not. The tuning dial is nearly impossible to turn, requires both hands. The AM frequency receives nothing but static regardless of where the radio is placed and I get a good signal on the cheapest of radios. No one would market this radio or give it a positive review. This particular unit must be defective, that happens. I'm sending it back and reordering because I really like the concept and style. The features that worked, worked well. If the second unit doesn't work as advertised then I'm done. I have been pleased with my other Crosley products, so they deserve another chance to get it right.
