Best inexpensive shotput on the market
This shotput took a few days to ship but that’s fine. Other than that it’s a great shotput I’m able to use it in competitions. The only thing I have against it it’s that’s it looked like it got repainted little buffed up but it’s gonna work. I’m not complaining.

Exceeded my expectations
This is a great practice shot put for my kids and the seller was very helpful in fixing an issue with the shipment. Both exceeded my expectations.

Shot put ball.
Great ball... easy to hold. Only complaint that i would have is that when using it on a gravel shot put pit the finish got really torn up. But, its expected! I just didn't expect it on the first throw! Other then that its a great ball for its price!

My dog loves it!
Bought this because my last cannon ball was lost, I think he may have dug around it by the fence until it plopped into the neighbors yard - never to be seen again. Kai was so excited to see his new cannonball! He plays with it all day, literally, any time of the day. I've never seen a dog so happy playing with with a solid ball of iron. I am very satisfied, and so is Kai!

Shot Put
It's a shot put. It weighs 12 pounds and is round. Not much else to say about it.My son has taken this up in high school and since we live close to the school, I thought it would be a good idea to get a shot put to practice with. I also didn't want a bunch of divots in my yard...It seems to fit the bill just fine. It is painted a grey color and almost all of the paint has come off since we started using this but who really cares? I don't and neither does my son. I considered having it powder coated by some friends but hey, it's a shot put Jack!

Looks a little better in person than in the picture.
I know, it's a 12 pound metal ball. But my son and I were surprised that the surface of the ball was so smooth. In the picture, it looks a little rough. I know it is the least expensive shot put I could find, so I was willing to accept that it might not be perfectly smooth. Maybe they have improved how they manufacture this ball since they put up the picture, but the surface of the shot put we received was almost pearly looking. My son did notice that the ball has some imperfections, but you have to really examine it to see that, and in your hand, it feels perfect. No reason to spend more money on a shot put for practicing, this one was great.Oh, yes, and I was happy to note that it arrived very quickly, as some of the other reviewers have mentioned.
