Are these super slippery on a counter? Some brands are more stable than others.

We actually use ours mostly for place mats, protectors, and for crafty things. They also work well when traveling for cutting or on picnic tables for a clean prep surface. We have granite counters, and they aren't bad for slipping. One side is slightly matte, and one side is shinier. If you have trouble with slipping, you can take a damp dishcloth underneath, and that will hold any cutting board in place.
