HunterSprinkler MPLCS515 MP Rotator, 5-Feet by 15-Feet Left Corner Strip

REVISION 2: (IT WORKS) There are very few instructions for these sprinkler heads. MPLCS515 MP Rotator Left Corner Strip is supposed to water 5 feet straight ahead and gradually increase to 15 feet at a 90° angle to the right. There is a tiny screw on top for flow adjustment and I initially thought turning Clockwise Increased flow, which I now know is Wrong. I turned it CounterClockwise (Anti-Clockwise) to Increase flow and Now it works Correctly. I discovered this by building a simple Nozzle Tester (see attached photo) that is a normal sprinkler attached to a short length of garden hose with a female fitting, so it fits on the end of a normal garden hose or outlet. This allows me to examine the nozzle pattern and make adjustments before permanent installation. I used the tester to figure out I had turned the flow adjustment to nearly Off, instead of Full Flow like I wanted. Now it works correctly, 5 feet straight ahead, increasing to 15 feet at a 90° angle to the right. Sorry for the previous incorrect review.

I'm a big fan of the MP Rotator line and I've had the MP2000 rotors in my yard for quite some time. I was pleasently surprised to find the corner strip pattern nozzles. The corner strip pattern allowed me add additional heads to to get adequate water coverage for two oddly shaped spots in my yard where the width was curved but narrow (around 6-7 ft) and the length met up with the rest of my yard which already had the MP2000 rotors. Now I have perfect coverage across my entire yard and no longer have to hand water these oddly shaped areas. I only wish I would have found these corner strip nozzles sooner!

I have three lawns. These look really really cool when running. Plus they are more efficient (less evaporation).Cons: There are situations where they undershoot or overshoot. There are a dozen plus patterns/distance configurations. With standard heads there are a hundred plus. So, I have areas where I either have to dig up and reposition pipes to get my coverage to work.

Easy to convert existing sprinklers to rotary. These are very quiet; you don't even hear the water running. Eliminates lost water from misting of conventional sprinkler heads. Note: you must extend the watering time with these heads. The output is slower so that the water droplets can sink into the soil. Pay attention to which corner strip you are ordering - one is for the left, one is for the right.
