GREAT STUFF and here's a rundown on its competition
I've now tried competing single-portion pour-over coffees from Copper Cow, Tribo, Twin Peaks, Kuju, and Casa (sold in local retail). Comparison follows.Kuju "Basecamp blend - Medium Roast" is at or near the top for sheer coffee flavor. I often drink coffees with milk, but some have such beautiful balance and complexity that the flavor seems wasted (blunted) by milk; those go particularly well with or after food. Kuju is one, surpassing my former #1 "good black" brand (Tribo "Guatamalan"). Both are expensive at $2 per serving in 10-packs (Tribo recently increased from $1.60; Copper Cow is even pricier, but includes condensed-milk packet for the Vietnamese serving style.)Tribo, another top-quality brand, sells several regional and blend coffees in pour-over format; trying a few assortments led to preferring Tribo's Guatamalan just mentioned. Another complex floral medium roast, "good black." B07GD1XJSN Tribo Guatamalan Coffee Pouches Copper Cow has slightly longer Amazon history than Kuju and, like Kuju, is promoted to outdoor enthusiasts (the Backpacker's Pantry camping-food firm sells Copper Cow in ruggedized 2-serving packs). At $3 per serving it's a "luxury" brand; it's also a unique experience with the intense savory Vietnamese-grown coffee and the included condensed-milk ration. Full review: https://www.amazon.com/review/R3EBS22BEXFCBXTwin Peaks, like Tribo, markets several differently-sourced pour-over coffees and is my everyday, value brand for this genre at 60 cents a portion in 10-packs. After trying several of its varieties I prefer Costa Rican and Colombian. (Sometimes black, sometimes w/milk.) B0777RWW96 Twin Peaks Costa Rican Coffee Pouches Casa (bought at local "Ranch 99" Chinese-themed supermarket; like many of these products it's assembled in Taiwan, apparently the center for pour-over pouch manufacturing) also offers different regional coffees. They were inexpensive and not bad; but with the competition above, I'd call it a commodity brand and I haven't re-purchased any.

Incredible taste!
I'm a camper, backpacker and scout mom. Before finding Kuju pour over I would pack my bulky percolator for camping trips and instant coffee for backpacking trips. When I stumbled upon Kuju online and read that it was founded by two Eagle Scouts, I knew I wanted to support the company and give it a try. Kuju is quite honestly the best cup of coffee I have EVER had on the trail. While backpacking and drinking instant coffee to get my caffeine fix, I really had to swig it down and ignore the taste. With Kuju, I'm getting an incredible cup of coffee on par with what I could make at home.I will never pack my percolator on camping trips again. Coffee lovers, please give this a try. It will not disappoint! I have recommended Kuju to all my friends and family that spend time in the outdoors.

Fantastic coffee for camping or at home!
I bought a big pack to bring for a camping trip this month. My friends and I are all avid coffee drinkers and we had been searching for a good coffee to bring on trips. I first came across Kuju when I was browsing REI and the associate had recommended it as one of their hit coffee products. I bought a single pour-over to try it and WOW - it was a game changer. Immediately, I searched for Kuju online and found the big pack on Amazon. Not only is the coffee super easy to use (just slip it over a mug and pour water), the quality was also amazing, extremely smooth and had fantastic flavors. All my friends on the trip couldn't get enough of it and it was something we looked forward to each morning! We didn't end up using the entire pack on our trip so I brought it home and have been drinking Kuju coffee every morning despite a coffee shop being right around the corner. The pour overs are super affordable, convenient and best of all tasty!10/10 would recommend! Looking forward to trying the other blends that Kuju offers :)

A little expensive but worth every penny
It’s expensive but a lifesaver when camping or traveling to some foreign countries. Went to the Philippines. I had been told they had instant coffee but it was pretty good. YUCK!! Thank Heavens I’d stuck 1/2 dozen of these in my suitcase for “just in case” their instant coffee wasn’t good. And it wasn’t! I like strong black coffee. Their instant coffee includes cream and sugar. I had a horrible time finding a package of black coffee, not 3 in 1, as they call it. I finally found a container of Folgers Drip just in time before I ran out of Kuju. Folgers wasn’t quite as good but sure best their instant! We use Kuju a lot when we camp, that’s how I knew it was so good and so easy to pack and to make!

Super easy, great alternative to K cups
Love these! I only drink 1 cup of coffee a day. I've tried mini french presses, I've tried traditional pour overs, etc. - they were always too fussy in one way or another, but I didn't want to keep an electric coffeemaker around to just make 1 cup at a time. And a bag of grounds would often go bad before I could use it all. These things are the perfect solution - easy to use, doesn't create a bunch of plastic trash, and each one is individually sealed so it's always fresh (and also easy to throw in my work bag or something). Super convenient and exactly what I needed.

You supply the adventure, Kuju supplies the energy
i Like coffee and I love getting myself lost. Lost in nature, lost in my work, lost in music. My constant companion for that is Kuju. I got hooked on Kuju while living in SF — the elegant packet design and rich roast made gourmet coffee possible anywhere that had hot water. Airplanes, camp grounds, gigs at B.B. King’s and on late night recording sessions. It’s ethically sourced, perfectly roasted beans that will power you no matter the adventure are on.

Good coffee is life
I’ve been looking and trying several different compact ways to have my coffee while camping . This by far wins. I’ve tried Via (sure it’s caffeine but...) Aeropress is awesome, but it’s bulky, and takes quite a bit of setup. This delivers quality coffee realtivily quick, and is compact and light. Win win win.

Filter = Good, Coffee = Bad
When I first saw this product I thought this was such a cool idea! I mean yes! It’s perfect for camping or even just to have around in your car! However, when I received the package, my amazon box itself was fine but the box the coffee came in was broken and beat up. I thought, whatever not a huge deal I still got the package. But then I looked at the coffee roast date and and smelled the coffee and it was like whoever shipped the coffee, picked an old box and threw it in the box for me. The coffee itself was no good! Kinda disappointed as I had high hopes for this product! I really liked the filter concept and it worked well, just disappointed with the coffee freshness and the packaging!

Not amazing
Not fantastic tasting.Concept is sound, convenient. When considering something like this for a camping/backpacking trip I appreciate the design a lot. But....it really isn't wonderful in taste. Not the light roast anyway. Especially for the price, not worth it. Starbucks via tastes better, brighter. Unfortunately I'll stick to my own coffee and pour over filter. Sorry guys, I wanted to like it but the flavour isn't up to par, certainly not for the price.

Convenient
This is exactly what I was looking for. Convenient and better taste than instant coffee.

The coffee smells like burnt and the flavor not good at all.
