I like this for my garage door opener light. You need a remote mount but this light is bright. Much better than the fold out version I had before.

Let's just say, it's freaking bright lol. I've had this for awhile, I just had to buy one for my mother. She loves how bright it is. Its like having a spot light. Performance is so good you can see the tree tops in my back yard and they are pretty far away. They are more energy efficient than the normal bulbs. Value for money is very good. The color is bright white. The size of it is pretty big compared to normal bulbs but you can tell why when you turn it on

I would have given the manufacturer 5 stars, but I received one that didn't work. After examining the unit, I noticed a red wire unbonded from the surface of the light panel. The defect should have been noticed during their test of the product before packaging. Amazon were informed of my bulb that didn't light and quickly sent me a new hopefully working bulb. Didn't answer the longevity of the bulbs (bought two) since they are newly installed. These two bulbs truly light up my whole 2+ car garage like daylight. They are not inexpensive, but really should be much less costly to operate than conventional lights. They use 40 watts each; replaced two 150 watt bulbs. The workmanship was below par. There were twisted drill shavings left in the bulb casing, and a soldered red wire that unbonded from the material. The cardboard box is very tight that the bulb is shipped in. It is difficult to remove the bulb from the box. As a customer I was treated well and the bulbs do all that I expected regarding the dispersed light.

I have a 2 1/2 car garage which has two lightbulb fixtures for the whole area. It was always dim using traditional light bulbs. I wanted to light up my garage like mid-day and installed a different single 6000 lumen bulb. It lit the nearby area well but did not provide enough light to illuminate the entire garage. I bought this for the second bulb fixture. Between this bulb and the other one, my entire garage is very well lit like mid-day. Now it does not matter what time of day it is, I can work on detailed projects in the privacy of my garage. I really like how long this bulb is supposed to last for, so I should not have to worry about replacing it any time soon. It lights up my garage more than I think would have been possible with old styled bulbs, and definitely saves energy compared to that much light from my old styled bulbs. I like how the LED bulb looks almost decorative when on but it does look strange when off. The bulb is large and the lighting is harsh, so I would not recommend using it in your living space. There is also a short delay between when you switch on the light and when it comes on, maybe a half a second.

Where has this type of light bulb in my whole life? This bulb is expelling a much whiter much brighter light than any other bulb I've tried, there are smaller versions too! I'm getting one more of these for my bedroom. Notice on the right side of the shot how the other bulb is more of a yellowish light which I'm going for the opposite which this bulb is.

They break off at the stem. I’ve owned six of these thinking that they would change. They gave off great light. But the durability is horrible. The reason why bought them again was because they fell over when I pulled the wire and I considered the breakage my fault. When I got them again and realized that just moving the lights around after a while owning them they popped right off the stem and the wire in there just pulls right off of the electric mechanism which kills the light. Perhaps if you’re going to use this application where the light will not be moved and is secure maybe it will work. I can’t recommend these In light poles or anything that’s going to be continually moved around. That’s just my experience

"60W LED Corn Light Bulb for Indoor Large Area, E26 6000Lm 6500K Cool white" Is bright in the 360 degrees and this is my 2nd one as the 1st one is still going strong in a garage. Would buy again even though corn bulbs as all bulbs are not cheap anymore. Prime next day delivery.
