For what this product is, it is outstanding. A cost effective way to get that steel drum sound we all know, also the company makes full sized steel drums too. Great for the price and very easy to pick up and learn. Highly recommend.

Bought for husband & I, just for fun. Left at up on dining table to use anytime we want to. Super easy set up! Both of us can play a few simple songs. Sounds pretty (one of the notes is difficult to get clear 😞, but that's just me)

Bought this because my kids kept begging me for it, it’s a fun little steel pan. I am not sure of the accuracy of the notes, I guess you could say. But my 12 year old loves this thing, she likes learning new things and since music is a big part of our house I don’t mind her learning more about different instruments, plus we love going on Caribbean vacations, hence the reason they kept bugging me for this steel pan. If you have the discretionary money to spend on it, why not, it is fun to play and listen to. This one comes with enough songs to get you started, plus some that you can download for free, you can also purchase a few more books of music from the same company.

My grandfather is retired, but loves to play his guitar and bongos. He mentioned that he would love to have a steel drum and when I found this on Amazon, I was so excited to get him one. Granted, I picked this one because the price and the fact that it came with stands that adjusted. I've never seen my grandfather's eyes light up as much as they did and he was so excited for it that he literally pulled it out of the box and started playing some of the notes. I did like that it came with some example songs too to try. Not only did he love it, but my daughter as well and he could adjust it to her height, whenever she wanted to try it out. Well worth the money!

This was a surprise gift for my husband‘s 80th. We had been on a recent cruise and I saw that they used that same brand. Now my grandkids all want them for Christmas!

This a great value for someone who is testing the waters on whether or not they want to learn to play a steel drum without investing a lot funds. This is the instrument to try first. I highly recommend it.

This is a really good pan for beginners. The only reason it doesn’t get a five star is that you can hear some wobbling on the two highest notes. One of the higher notes had noticeable hammer marks as well. Ive heard that Panyards quality had diminished since a key tuner and developer had left. I was disappointed to experience that myself. Still a good pan at a great price.

This is not a real steel drum, nor is it a real musical instrument. It is not even a good toy.
