I'm considering this saw and tracks for removing live edges on lumber I mill myself (oak, tulip, maple, birch, others). Will it work well for this?

Does anyone know how to align this saw at the 90 degree cut position? What set screws should be adjusted?

I had the same problem with mine. I didn't see any way to adjust it. I returned it and bought the Festool TS75. I've been happy with that.

Will this work with the Makita or Festool track?

It will work for square (90 degree) cuts. However, when you bevel, it is my understanding that this saw will cut into the sacrificial strip on the Festool/Makita track. It would effectively change the zero clearance cut line on the track when you set the saw back to 90 degrees.
