This desk is worth every cent paid I paid for it. I use it as a hobby desk and it have enough shelf space to store my supplies in.Assembly was smooth and simple. No issues with it at all.

My 9 year old asked for a desk in his bedroom so that he can focus better. I wanted something smaller for him but still wanted him to have shelves for his books or storage, I was so happy to stumble across this! I was able to build it by myself with no issues, instructions were clear. It only came in like 11 pieces so not too much to sort through, less confusion! The only part I needed help with was attaching the desk to the bookshelf but I just had my son hold it while I screwed it together. The only thing I would change is to maybe add more support to the middle of the desk because if you try to slide the desk by yourself, it feels like you’re going to crack the wood. Otherwise it’s a perfect writing desk for my son! Its smaller but there’s plenty of space and it’s high enough to use any type of desk chair you’d like.

This desk is very nice. I like the storage room. The only problem is that it is easily stained, when your writing on a piece of paper the writing transfers through onto the desk

I needed a sewing/writing desk, so I was specifically looking for something that could support the weight of a sewing machine and had enough room to comfortably sit. This is perfect for that. PLENTY of leg room underneath. It's a wide enough space that you could use almost any type of chair comfortably. Putting it together was pretty easy as well and I'm not usually good at that type of thing. I just got it so we'll see how it holds up, but it seems pretty sturdy. The only flimsy part is the particleboard used for the back of the taller shelves, but if it were to break somehow I'd just take it off. The shelf looks fine without it - I was debating not putting it on in the first place but decided it'd be handy to not have to worry about little stuff falling off the back. But the rest is all made of solid, nice wood with some pretty smart design as far as how it's all put together. If you wanted extra stability you could easily put a couple L brackets under the tabletop part, but I don't think it needs it.The shorter set of shelves has a lot more space than I'd envisioned as well. Attached a pic to show that. I'll probably pick up a couple fabric bins to put on them for even better storage, as the shelves are wide enough for large bins or baskets to fit comfortably.Overall, I'm pretty in love with it.UPDATE: 2 years later and this desk has been abused considerably, but still shows no sign of wear. It's tremendously sturdy, has held wayy more than the weight limit with no problems. I even put a fishtank on it a while back, and still no bowing, cracks, or anything. One of the best Amazon purchases I've made.

For the money I am very happy. The only thing I would change is, I think there should be additional support on the one side. It only is held by 4 screw's. I added 2 L brackets because my girls are rough on things. Also recommend installing the top as the last step. The package arrived ripped up but the contents were ok

Our desk arrived with all parts undamaged. I would give it a 5-star review except the instructions could be a little clearer in a couple of places. I wound up having to unscrew a couple of places and redo my work because I didn’t notice details that are easy to overlook; the instructions are images only, no text. However, I got it put together in about 2 hours with just a tiny bit of help from my husband. It’s a great little desk for our son’s bedroom where he can do projects or homework. It’s a bit on the small side for an adult, but perfect for a grade-school child. It’s sturdy enough for our purposes, plus I positioned it up against a corner so that will help keep it steady.

Arrived quickly. Went up simply enough. Make sure to stick to instructions. Took about an hour after a couple missteps caused by going to quickly and assuming next steps lol.

This is a great desk! Not too hard to put together, great size, more than enough shelf space, and over all good quality! Although there’s only one thing that’s annoying is the fact that the screws aren’t the same color or no extra stickers to cover them. :/ Other than that, it’s a great desk and so happy to finally have it all set up in our newly rented house!
