Bought three of these as stocking stuffers. You need to use glue to glue the cats onto the spinner unless you want them flying off constantly.It's still an amusing novelty but I've seen more amusing spinners that don't require you to glue cats to them. Now there's a sentence I didn't think I'd ever be writing.

I spent a bit of time just getting the cats on without knocking other cats off. Drop this and the cats are definitely coming off. Definitely don't give this to a small kid. You'll get tired of putting cats back on.Cats are formed well. Spins well, but the cat legs will drag across my thumb unless I really make a point to stay out of their way.

I ordered 5 thinking maybe I might get a repeat. I was pleasantly surprised that I got them all! In 30 minutes and with about 50 variations of swear words, I was able to get 3 cats on one spinner. With the elation of my success, I cheered, then spun the adorable kitties around the spinner. Much to my dismay, they flew off immediately. I was able to put it back on, but it was a solid 10 minutes before I got it to spin again. This time, I VERY CAREFULLY spun it and it worked. Utterly dismayed I placed it back on my work table. I guess I’m going to get some super glue, as others have suggested.

You have to attach the cats yourself, if you follow the instructions it works well. The instructions are in Japanese, but are easy to understand. This probably isn't a great gift for the average child, but alot of Japanese Gashapon type toys aren't. All of the packaging and info is in Japanese. There is a checklist of the 5 spinners, one is a rare secret version. The overall quality, including the bearings, is much better than I expected.

This comes in pieces, with the center fidget spinner separate and the individual cats to go around that *look* like they should just snap on, but beware...they don't.Maybe with some super-glue, but there would be no other way.Was very disappointing on Easter morning.

...cats adhering to the wheel IS THE POINT. So you are actually ordering a spinner wheel, and loose cats figurines. Pretty disappointing.

The cats do not fit well on the wheel so you'll have hard time to put it together. If you drop it, all the cats will fall all over the place, if you enjoy finding, picking up little plastic cats on your floor, do get it, otherwise, stay away, buy other toys instead.

The 'secret' pattern is a yellow/orange tabby. We got two of those out of five spinners ordered. It's a little tough to get the cats properly onto the spinner arms at first, but keep at it until they click into place, then they don't come off unless you pull them off or drop the spinner on a hard floor. The spinner bearings are pretty standard.
