IRWIN DIE 10-1.50MM 1" HEX (9740) (3/Each)

I love these types of dies. You can use them in very tight spaces with a socket and you don't need to have a normal die handle on it. Well worth the money for the job I used it on.

The item arrived as described and on time. I threaded 2 pieces of 10mm barstock. Die worked well although it was bit difficult to start. Die did a good job on the threads. Not certain how many pieces it would thread but did well for my repair project on my planer locking system.

Used to thread the end of a drawbar for a lathe collet chuck . The cut threads matched up perfectly with the threads in the chuck. Just be sure you start it straight.

The die was used to re-thread a rusty, damaged stud embedded in a concrete pad outdoors.Threads were cut and the nut spun on by hand.

As always this is quality product from Irwin Hansen. I needed a die to clean up threads on studs. Thread chaser would not work.
