Makes a very mildly flavored tea. I had to pour it into a clear cup to see if it had any tea brew to it, I could hardly taste it. It may be good for you, but I like taste to my food, so I was very disappointed. So, I bought the dry bitter gourd and brewed some ooh soo tasty tea. Put a few dried slices in boiling water and cover for about 20 min, strain and drink. I never sweeten it, if you like bitter, you'll love it.
