Lid for Cloudburst 200 litre Water Butt

This is the lid for a water butt. The courier was unable to deliver on the first attempt - who knows why as I was standing in the front garden waiting for the delivery. It appeared a few days later thrown over my garden gate! So zero points for delivery.I had not realised the item I ordered was second hand. It had two holes gouged out either side of the handle which looked like they had been made with a blunt pen knife (see photographs).Sadly this item fails on all fronts; delivery appalling, product second hand and damaged.On a brighter note it did fit my water butt.

Easy to blank off the vent/drain holes in the lid either side of the "handle".Just got an dual epoxy resin tube from Poundland, stuck some parcel tape on the underside of the holes to form a mould, mixed and applied the resin and Hey Presto ! Job Done. Almost a perfect fit for my blue barrels, about 10mm. clearance.

A perfect fit for my rather large water butt (no idea if it's the brand this is designed for) that had been missing a lid for many years. Water butt size 65cm diameter at top, 2cm wall thickness, 61cm internal diameter.The holes in the top may let through some insects but hopefully not too many.Only issue I had was the longer than expected delivery time. This would not have been a problem except that I contacted the seller to ask when the lid would arrive. They were not able to confirm with the courier so they promptly and helpfully arranged to send another one out. A couple of days later the lid arrived only to be followed about a week later by a second lid. So patience may be needed with their courier firm!

This is way bigger than my water butt but we have cut it so it fits on securely. Very sturdy, should last quite a long time. Arrived really quickly.

What can I say! It’s a water butt lid, fits well but hard plastic not soft. Delivered on time.

There is nothing to dislike about this lid. I think my water butts were originally purchased from the Council many years ago. However, one of the lids broke and I decided to try this one. It fitted absolutely perfectly. I was one happy bunny. Thoroughly recommend as everything went as planned from ordering to delivery. A1 Seller.
