All I can say is OMGAWD!!! Thank You~!~!! We got a new mattress after the previous "The Cloud" Serta pillow top (I'll never have another one) lasted for less than 8 years and I totally despised not being able to flip it models failed.. The new model is also a hybrid mattress, but is flippable and was just a bit too firm. I was feeling progressively more and more uncomfortable as the nights wore on, and with my serious back problems.. this just wouldn't do.. So I began searching "Our Beloved Amazon - heh" for an alternative, and after quite some time and research finally landed on this wonderful topper. It's like sleeping on top of well stuffed Ida Down on top of piles of silk. So very comfortable and my back pain is virtually completely gone now -such a relief! Be sure you follow the instructions on care and initial setup. You Do have to let it fluff out because of the vacuum packing (it wasn't really heavy btw). Mine decompacted fine, but I still want to run it through the dryer when we next venture to the laundromat. Shake it a little here and there when you take it out and at least let it sit for a few hours. It was just as easy to put on the bed as a regular mattress protector, and I also put my regular protector on top of it for added security and waterproofing. The materials feel like they are of good quality.. Viscose is also called Rayon and can be made from a number of different materials, so take good care of it and follow the washing instructions carefully. Delicate only, and cool only, and use only a horizontal washer that does not have a central agitator or you will tear it up. Only dry on low temperatures (preferably in a very larger laundromat dryer so it has plenty of room to loosely toss about. Drying it in the sun is alright as well, but it won't fluff like you want it to. I recommend using a waterproof and bug proof protector on top of this just to be sure you take care of it properly.Now I want to buy one for both my Mother and my Aunt HAHAHHA! TG it is in my price range.. barely.(Addendum: I have run it through the big dryer at the laundromat.. The dryer was cold so I gave it a quick warm on medium for anout 2 minutes and then tumbled on low for quite some time. The topper was fully ready in about 25 minutes, but I decided to elt it go on low while I did the rest of my laundry. It did perfectly and is just like the manufacturer photos.. I was so tired when I arrived home that I just flaked out on top of everything.. It was so comfortable that I was out liek a light in very short order and slept beautifully. I can attest that if you use this below your sheets instead of covering it with an additional mattress protector, that it does have better cooling effect. I will of course keep my waterproof/bugproof protector on top just for safety. The cat is nutz about the new topper as well.)Namaste.

I ordered this for my father-in-law for his hospital bed. Hospice ordered him one so we could put up the rail at night so he would not fall out of bed and so we could raise the bed up high enough so he didn't have to lean back so far to sit and lay down. The only problem was that the mattress was this and uncomfortable. Dad's back hurt because the mattress is so thin and probably too old. This mattress topper adds a good layer of plushness to the mattress that Dad's back didn't hurt anymore. We ended up getting a hospital bed from a friend that had a better mattress, but we still use the topper because Dad liked how plush it felt.Dad moved into a memory care home when we were no longer able to care for him, but he has the furniture from his own bedroom and his comfy chair from the den and more for when we visit him. The topper is easy to wash which is good because of accidents. But someone else ended up with one of the toppers and have not given it back. So I'm buying two more! This time I'm going to label them with Dad's name so that he can enjoy the topper. So now I have enough again, so that if there's an accident, then he has a clean topper waiting in the closet to be put on his bed.I highly recommend this topper. Dad is not hot or cold with it - he says he is just right. It's easy to wash and dry. It had a big elastic section so that it fit the smaller mattress and the new thicker mattress. I'm glad it came in XL Twin size for Dad's hospital bed. If I didn't have a sleep number mattress then I'd use this bamboo topper too. My bed comes with something like this built-in. I hope this review helps you choose what is best for you.

Fantastic pillow top topper!When I opened the package the topper was flat and stinky with a factory smell. That was easily remedied by spraying with Fabreeze and hand fluffing (like you would with a tired, flat pillow.)After fluffing and air drying, I had a nice, thick, plush pillow top topper for my bed. I put it on easily with the wrap around elastic. Just like a bottom sheet. Then made my bed as usual.This is like the old school pillow top topper that's been around forever. It's absolutely wonderful on top of a memory foam topper!I don't know about other people, but while I appreciate the cushion of memory foam, it's hot, no matter what kind it is (gel, lavender, tea, air-flow holes, etc.) and it's not cushy like a pillow.This topper is cool and cushy like a pillow.It is so much better than the one I had before that had elastic straps on the covers. Those broke.I highly recommend! 5 stars.

This mattress topper has been a total game changer for my bed. It has given it that little bit of extra comfiness that makes for a good night sleep. I am definitely glad I purchased it. It was a perfect fit for my pillow top mattress. I can't say it keeps me cooler at night but it doesn't make me want to return it.

I bought this mattress topper to use on my single size blowup bed and it worked really well! It was stretched to the max height wise on this double height blowup bed, but it still worked. When I was done with the blowup bed, I put it on my split cal king size bed, and after gently stretching it, it fit perfectly! For reference, I used it on a split California king mattress that is foam and has extra height. The mattress topper had no smell out of the packaging, but I washed it anyway, and it was easy to put in my regular size washing machine and dryer. I would be careful with the stretchable band that attaches to the pad itself – it’s pretty sturdy, but it’s very stretchy and when stretching can be vulnerable to tearing. It was easy to put on - similar to a fitted sheet. I don’t know if it’s waterproof, but I don’t think so. It helps make my mattress more comfortable and I’m very glad I bought it.
