The screw helps to stay in place

They were okay... I mean they stuck well. But the screws were super small and really hard to drill. And some on the end of the screws were flat, It was very inconsistent. They are also not very durable, some of them broke after a week of installing them.

The media could not be loaded.  For its intended use on standard flush cabinets, these were super easy to install, see brown cabinet doors (pic 7 and video.) The installation video says you have to put the first adhesive part flush to the edge and yes it worked great, see video, pretty sturdy.For other uses like on my buffet table and my baby’s dresser where the drawer doors are not flush, the installation was a little trickier but it can be done. Just gauge the placement before removing the adhesive backings, use painters tape to hold in place. I was able to install only in the top and bottom drawers of the dresser as the middle one didn’t have the space. See pics of black color drawers and actually had to install sideways but better then visible straps. These are the cheapest I found and you can use them on multiple types of “doors” with some work so great buy!Cons-the installation video says it comes with multiple extra adhesive tabs but you only get an extra one of each, I guess that’s 1 each for one mess up. But! You can remove the adhesive with a really thin utility spatula forget what they’re called and if you go slow it slides the tab away from the area and I was able to reuse the tab, try it before scraping off and losing a tab. Other “bad thing” my Amazon package was taped closed and the box’s new seal was broken, sot sure who was at fault on that but I don’t like that I didn’t get a new item. If that’s the case, discount people! I did count and at least all items were accounted for. Bargain buy!

The Adhesive sucks had to put screws in.

We used adhesive as well as the screws, which is why we chose this product. We have a large dog who started opening the cabinet under the sink and other temporary methods didn’t deter him. We used something similar in a previous house years ago as child proofing all our drawers and cabinets and I remember them needing less force to open but these work well to prevent access by the dog and we will get used to them.

Make sure your cabinets are flush otherwise the patch part gets caught on the lip of the frame instead of the other piece that comes with it. Because of that it makes it hard to open enough to be able to get your finger to press the lever.

This are sturdy an easy to install, without having to exactly measure all of them. I have a pretty strong 1 year old and they don't come off

We've had these on our cabinets for a 3 or so months. We installed them according to the instructions/video using the included tool. Our 16 month old has figured out that if you pull in the cabinets enough times quickly they will come open. I had to remove the latches & move them up higher (higher than when using the tool) just opening & closing the cabinet until it was high enough that the door closed flush but that there was more up the latch from the door/drawer caught under the top latch.What drew me to these was the command adhesive because I didn't want to put screws in my cabinets however if you don't do that, they will come off.

Bought these to keep my cat out of the cupboards and it works great! Had bought other ones from Walmart but they ended up being too long, these were shorter so they were absolutely perfect!

These do not come with an installation template as described. I ordered two boxes which were fully sealed and both did not have the template, nor did the instructions make mention of any template. There is also no way of keeping them unlocked as I read in a review. Returning them both.

I did not install this product because the product was not as described in its product description. The product was missing the mounting template and the locks could not be put into the off position.
