DEWALT DW2225 Acoustical Eye Lag Driver,1 unit

I was shopping around online, just because I like Dewalt products alone I took interest in clicking on this eye lag driver, but still shopped around because the one I originally had was a heavy duty durable one and wanted to make sure I didn’t just buy anything, we’ll, this one does the job, it’s just as strong as one you would find at AMS or construction shop, in my trade you Sometimes have to install wire to an eye lag by hand, this is perfect and strong enough 👍

After I tried all the wrong tools to move the acoustical eye bolts, I popped this into my Porter Cable 20V impact driver and this yanked those suckers right out. I was able to relocate the eye bolts in seconds with this tool. I just wish I had known about it earlier.

I have two new ones of these now and I've owned some of this model previously. If you buy the cheap drivers, they fall apart in a few uses. I don't install suspended ceilings, but I do sometimes install ceiling fans in drop ceiling locations. To do it right you have to anchor the fixtures on wire into the steel or wood structure using eye-lags and not just into the drop ceiling frame work. If you buy these DeWalts they'll hold together.

I hang professional speakers commercially, I have used all the other brands to put these lags in corrugated steel and wood beams, Every one of them have broke except for this 1. I even use it with an impact driver

Me and the wife went through 3 of the eye lag adapters sold at Home Depot trying to finish our basement. Finally gave up and ordered one. Dewalt pulled through as usual and we were able to get our ceiling up in one evening. Very strong and I'm sure it will last many more ceiling installs if I can manage not to lose it (does not come with anything to store it, not a problem as single bits usually don't.)Recommend.

This is the best lag screw driver on the market. Don't waste your money on any other. Strong and last forever.

Great item for a great price. So easy to remove these bolts. Wish I had bought it earlier.
