I read somewhere that stuff found in grapefruit peel worked well in the lab on test animals to regulate weight. Here is what I've found for myself. I use the low carb diet to keep my weight regulated as I've found it works for me. I discovered if I am going for ketosis the grapefruit peels allow me to cheat a little more than if I didn't take them. In Otherwords I can have a normal meal that would normally knock me slightly out of ketosis but with the peel I will stay in ketosis. This doesn't mean I can chow down on noodles bread and sugar as much as I want but it does something to help break down sugars without as much insulin which is a bonus. I take 2-3 per day and I have noticed no side effects. I recommend this for a healthy diet supplement. Do your own research on it first to make sure it Is right for you and check with your doc first if you have any health problems with insulin production.
