Scotch Postal Wrapping Paper, 30 in x 30 ft., 60# , 1 Roll/Pack

This paper was surprisingly good quality. I mean, bc it's the Scotch brand, I would expect nothing less anyway; however, for the add on price, this is great paper! It's thick, similar to construction paper, and it seems durable. It's actually such a thick type of paper that I feel the need to warn you about paper cuts! With the rolled up form, the edge of the paper flaps around so be careful. Other than that, I highly recommend this product. Great price and great item.

I used this wrapping paper as a backdrop for a bubbly bar at a baby shower (there was both sparkling wine and water available). This wrapping paper served as our gift wrapping paper for the crib (a very large box) and as the backdrop. It was very sturdy material. I was able to stick faux roses through the paper and hang a banner from it. Will definitely consider using kraft paper again as a backdrop as it can be used for a multitude of things and it’s a lot better for the environment! The only thing I may do differently next time is get a wider roll.

I got this to wrap some presents 'rustic parcel style' tied with some twine, and it worked perfectly. I had a lot left over and my roommates and I were able to use the rest for random crafts and to wrap fragile things and add some cushioning to moving boxes. This stuff is much thicker than the average paper bag. If it's going to be used for regular wrapping or maybe as book covers, it's going to take a lot of folding to soften the edges a little bit or a lot of very strong tape to hold down, because it's going to want to spring back up. I can see how this can be appropriate for mailing packages as it's definitely very sturdy.

This is a very good wrapping paper for your postal needs. When I read several reviews, I went with the one that said that the quality and thickness of the paper was like that of a good heavy duty supermarket bag. Well, not quite like the bags in the stores from which I purchase my foods. I don't know where that reviewer shops but this is not as thick as a bag from a store such as that from a couple of large chain stores at which I shop. That said, it is heavier than a piece of plain printer paper, but not that of the weight of card stock, but it worked well for my purposes. I had to send out a manuscript to a publisher, and the paper was certainly sturdy enough to hold the 648 pages that I needed to post. I would still give this is a rating of about 4 1/2 stars rather than a plain 4.

This is fairly heavy duty wrapping paper for packaging things. In my case, I wanted to ship a framed wall scroll that was fairly fragile, and wanted something to wrap the frame before encasing it in foam. This worked splendidly for that purpose. Being on a roll it has a tendency to want to curl, which can make it a bit difficult to work with, but I'm not sure there's really much alternative. I'm sure this is also solid enough to use on the outside of a package, particularly if it's already a box and you just want to cover it. Good product at a more than reasonable price.

I was pricing wrapping paper this year, and I just couldn't get over how ridiculously expensive something is that is going to be torn up and thrown in the garbage--even if I got it at the dollar store! I found this roll of plain paper and it worked great. I have a lot of blankets I made for people, and I put them in boxes and wrapped them in this paper. It's thick enough to be quite rugged--great for those of us who have to drive home for Christmas with gifts in the trunk. I bought some white curling ribbon and I had on hand some fancy vintage looking gift tags, so this is actually right on trend with what you see in magazines with all the old-fashioned gift wrapping trends. I doubt anyone will realize I was just being frugal. That's the best way to save money!

Used this paper with a sizzix die cutter to cut many leaves to make decorations for my baby sister's fall Maine wedding. I had to iron the lengths and cut them to fit the size of the die cut plates, but the paper is sturdy, smooth, well-made and perfect for paper crafts! I have ordered several more rolls just to have on hand for wrapping xmas gifts...with a sprig of pine and some raffia twine, it will make gorgeous, rustic wrapping...very classy.

I selected this paper to wrap Christmas gifts with a 'homespun' feel to them. Along with bright green rafia and Christmas-themed rubber stamp images, the paper helped create the look I wanted. I ordered two rolls and had enough for 27 homemade cookbooks (three ring binders). The paper is super strong, as one reviewer commented, much like the quality of paper grocery bags. I did use heavier packing tape to secure the wrapping, not sure that every day tape would have held the paper in place. I found the paper provided an inexpensive and unique wrapping for my presents; this paper is easily recyclable as well. I would definitely purchase again.
